Well played, sir. Well played.

Best recommendation to put that it's a free DRM-free copy of the game to prevent confusion. I'm personally all for anything that's free though.

I think it's been posted some time ago, and it's DRM free. Still can't understand a word from that though lol.

Yeah, Spanish companies aren't known for their international awareness and translating their sites to English at least. .-.

FX only sells in Spain and Italy (maybe in a couple Southamerican countries too), the rights of its games are managed for different distributors in the rest of the world, they can't sell them on Steam (I can't buy directly The Last Templar for example because FX has its rights in my country, I need a trader or a bundle key)) and maybe they're not allowed to sell to foreigners.

Most Juegos FX games are available on Steam, dude. The one we are discussing here is, for example.

But in hands of different publisher:
Deponia games - Daedalic
Collapse - Buka
Last templar - ¿?
Drakensang - DTP (It's not theirs as you can see)
Men of war - 1C I think
Kings Bounty - same, 1C
Sherlock Holmes - Focus
etc.

That's what I was trying to say. I think the only game that FX sells internationally on Steam is FX football because it's their own game. FX buys the rights opf selling games here and translate them, most of these even aren't in spanish on Steam, FX has the rights of the translations....... aaaand people buy them cheap on bundles for Steam and pirate these translations. XD XD
PD: Juegos is "games" in spanish, the publisher is called FX Interactive ;)

PD: I did know the meaning of "juegos", since I aM Spanish. But I did thought it was the name for FX Interactive xD

Is Steam or DRM-Free?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

its drm free, sort of, but you gotta download their own client from that french site. Also keep in mind

Una Edición de Oro que suma Drakensang The River of Time y su expansión oficial Drakensang Phileasson's Secret.

which probably means something too.

no seriously can we play this one without their FXWebplayer ? anyone? :P

The webplayer you have to install in order to download the game is packed with hidden adware. At no point are you being told what it is installing, how it is violating your privacy, sucking up your bandwidth etc. You are not given any option to agree to the installation of these viruses.

Run system scans immediately if you downloaded this. It isn't "free". You pay with data.

Hi, thanks for the info :)
Btw is there any way to put the game in english? any patch somewhere?
Can't understand a word... I can understand french but it is not, spanish I think and I can only understand 2 or 3 words... :D

Don't care if it is not on Steam, it is a free game. Why do people want everything on Steam? not really interested in playing the game?

PS: I am not english but I am learning... it is easier to find games in english than in my own language xD
Thanks :)

Well, it's drm-free so I guess since you now "own" it, you can find some English version online and swap whatever necessary files.
