Holy crap, those are expensive.... Thats like a whole bunch of games on steam for myself and others. Even more so once the sales start or if I stick to mostly bundles. Heck thats a pair of decent new computers, or even a most of new top of the line hand built computer

I've got 3 pairs of footwear.
1 pair of Crocks that I used as slippers and for running outside. Just over 2 years old, they replaced my last pair that I put holes into that were about 5 years old.
1 pair of Steal toe shoes which I use for if I need to go past the driveway or cut the grass. These shoes are over 12 or 13 years old. I can't actually remember when I got them.
1 pair of boots I use for the winter when I have to clean the driveway. 8 years old I believe they are.

Thats it. Course I'm a guy and have no actual interest in fashion or anything like that. I'm more of a practical kind of person. My most expensive shoes I ever had has been 40 bucks or so, after 12% taxes and those were the steel toe shoes.

What do you work?

I love loafers/moccasins. But not in that price class. They wear out in no time. I'd rather spend the money on my computer :p

My feet grew so much I went from a size 11 to 14 in about 2 years, but now I've got maybe 10 pairs, 1 for nice dressing, and the rest are casual.

Gotta admit- I have quite a stack of shoes -.- some to fit a certain kind of jeans, then for business, hot summer, and some if shoes get dirty when it rains(i want them to dry completely until brushing them clean xD)
But I also keep my worn outs for work after I ruined a new pair working on set :(

I've used my converse shoes for maybe 6 years, still working fine. They are the only shoes I have.

Anyway, ignore the complainers (probably just jealous) and use your money for what you like <3

i had to count them now :D i have 15 pair, most of them are skate / basketball shoes and some business shoes.
for me shoes are some kind of status symbol, and white shoes have to be white like the day they were bought for ever, but spending over 1300$ on one pair is quite a lot. i hope you have fun with them :) don't wear them on rainy days :D
