Most annoying Giveaway luck?

Winning a giveaway for Saints Row 4, which was a public giveaway with over 3000 entires, and then the user having a Russian region locked copy. Never did get it, even though the gifter said he would try to get his hands on a ROW copy.

Annoying luck.. So a case where being lucky is annoying?

I don't think you fully understand statistics, and the concept of "luck".

Yesterday there was a guy that won a giveaway even though he was the only person who entered. Lucky bastard!

Wanted the game, so I entered a bunch of giveaways - Ended up with two won copies... Wasn't able to contact the second generous for a reroll though.

Not winning for 4 months.

For me what's most annoying is when people complain about not winning.

Finally won a giveaway. It was for a game I just recently bought. (Forgot to withdraw from that giveaway.)

I entered tons of Just Cause giveaways, and don't won them. But I entered once in a Renegade Ops and I won it.

Entered giveaways for Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Left 4 Dead 2, Fez, Go Home Dinosaurs, System Shock 2, Monaco, and Cart Life. All of them had high odds of winning. I wanted them all, but in order of which I wanted the most, it goes-

• Cart Life
• Far Cry 3 BD
• Fez
• Left 4 Dead 2
• System Shock 2
• Monaco
• Go Home Dinosaurs

They all ended around the same time. The wons I won? Go Home DInosaurs, Monaco, System Shock 2. Now, I'm glad I won them, don't get me wrong, but I was pretty bummed that I didn't win the ones I wanted to. I mean, Cart Life had been my most wanted game for months.

Oh, here's another one- Entered 2x Sam and Max Season 1 giveaways each with 2 entries, Lost. 2x Season 2 with 2 entries- Lost.

I won't complain, because I've won a lot of awesome things. My best day is one I'll never forget and will be thankful for as long as I use Steam. It was a day in July, and I won these that day-

Winning is good, no matter how much you won or didn't win. Be thankful for whatever you won. Complaining about what you won makes you look like a spoiled douchebag. Unless you won something and the person didn't give you the game. Then you can complain- But don't make a thread complaining about it.
