Question: I see people are always getting coupons when they threaten to pause but I've paused several times and have never been offered a coupon. Is it because I'm on the annual plan?

bro thats exactly the same thing i thought! wastelander seemed like a game i would give up halfway through and backbone looked good but other than that is... a disappointment man. let's just hope next January's choice is better

The coupons were already allocated, so either you got one or you won't get any for this month. You can perhaps still get 2€ - 4€ off when pausing.

I dont think they do that. Theres a coupon wave around 2 weeks after/before bundles, and thats it.
But you dont need to outright cancel, they do give out coupons for skipped "active" subs too.
Basically you skip in the first week after the reveal, wait for a coupon (that can be anything from 2 USD discount to 6 or even 8 USD off even), and you either get it or dont. Also if you didnt get last months monthly you usually (not every time) get offered a 4 USD off coupon (can be anything thats in the coupon wave afaik but 4 USD is standard) instantly if you try to skip. If you accept that you wont get the coupon wave offer, but the coupon will land in your coupon closet instantly. With both the skip and mid month coupons you dont need to buy right away, you have time until the next monthly drops, you can even skip again to escape the autocharge.

This and the last Choice had me on the fence, but I didn't get a $4 coupon until this month, and I haven't bought a bundle in quite a while. So I'll be keeping Wasteland 3, TOEM, and Greedfall. It appeals to me more than Fanatical's winter bundles.
