Changed my vote from Plague Tale to Disco Elysium to fight the microtransaction heavy, bad PC port, bugheaven (at least friends cursed the game 2months long then they quitted) mainstream RDR2.

I've actually really enjoyed RDR2. I mean, sure, things might be bad with online mode (haven't tried it and not going to), but story mode feels quite polished.

sigh Good to see the usual greed in action. Naturally, the most expensive game leads the poll. Instead of going for some good indie game like Greedfall or supporting Teyon for making one of the best FPS games in recent history from a budget that was lower than what Rockstar spent on coding horse testicle physics into RDR2.

Anyway, I'm not sure it relates to price though. Being able to watch horse testicles on PC presents more interest than shooting robots or talking to your shoes because you couldn't do that before. (Please nobody prove me wrong on this, I don't want to know!).
Alternatively, and it's possible that this has more clout, RDR2 isn't cracked ...

Sekiro is nowhere near. RDR2 is not just the base price, it is already a microtransaction lootfest in multiplayer.
However, it is not what I meant. RDR2 is the most expensive in terms of sheer marketing, money just thrown at the game, and in generally it is tied to probably the richest publisher of the bunch. It is the richest in exposure as well.
I am just tired of the "yes, I want the large expensive plaything, thanks" mentality, especially in video games.

OK. I understand. I haven't followed RDR2 so I didn't know about the microtransactions. I'm here for the story, and that's why I voted Disco Elysium.
I also agree with you on the marketing argument. For some games the marketing budged is absurd since it rivals the development costs.

Eh, screw that. I am really wondering if any of the voters, if they actually received it for free, would even get past the first level before saying "bored now!" and just moving on. Disco Elysium is a ridiculously text-heavy game with lots of vague concepts and ideologies being in the forefront. It is a tiresome read sometimes.

Voted for Greedfall. Strange thing for me with this game. I would like to play it so much, but then again not sure I want to pay for it. Fear of being disappointed I guess.
Should've known it was mistake to click on Greedfall and throw my vote away. Now I wish I voted for Disco Elysium to win over RDR2.
