AMD Radeon Vega 8 integrated graphics is that turned off? Doesn't sound like it, If not just turn it off (probably in your bios), might just interfere, The 1650 is better and make sure you got the latest drivers for that through nvidia itself. Also in the nvidia settings you got a choice between power and quality, i'd say move it to power.
It should all run fine, if it's an old laptop maybe try cleaning it?
Well what i said the picture makes it look a driver mess.
First disable the AMD Radeon, then Get https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html clean everything up, get the latest nvidia drivers, install those (you can try the power/quality thing, it's optional) and try the game again.

Well you added a picture later which made me added a bit that i think your drivers and cards are conflicting.
Maybe disable your AMD card in device manager if you can see it there? And then still do the DDU thing and start from scratch i wouldn't count too much on stuff like driver booster, just download the latest driver yourself from the site.

Still suggest turning it off in bios (especially if you cant find it in device manager) maybe your friend isn't afraid of it. ;)
As long as you dont meddle with anything other then the graphic card section, and from there being able to shut it off, there really can't go wrong much, anyway good luck. :)

Hey, nice to hear feedback and that it worked.
Have you tried this? And i assume you didn't picked ultra settings or something, or atleast try to lower some settings?

If you google: doom eternal low fps, you get many hits, maybe you can find a solution in between there? As there can be many causes.
I only got Doom Eternal on bethesda launcher (came free with logitech keyboard) so can't really say much for steam but i can make a good bet that might be the cause. ;) Keep me posted.

I had to update my Nvidia drivers just to play DOOM Eternal as well. It told me when I tried to run it for the first time.

Hey guys, my friend bought doom eternal and laptop for it. He verified files on steam, uptaded everything, even used program called Driver Booster to find if something is not updated. He tried in nvidia panel changing what card should be on when turning the game. Is it really a problem from the laptop like it's not good enough? His laptop is ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DT R5-3550H with 32 gb ram, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 + AMD Radeon Vega 8, AMD Ryzen 5 3550H. Anyone know the solution?
Pic is saying Error Graphic Driver
