Nothing to worry about; in the very least you have you and of course many new exciting opportunities just waiting around the corner. leave that shell and get out of your comfort zone, live every second of life with absolute joy you could get out of.
I absolutely understand your situation, just don't dwell on it and keep it up.

I am sorry that you're feeling down. I haven't been feeling the best either, so I know that it's hard.
I want to believe though, that this pain is temporary and if we hold on through it, it'll be better another day.
Treat yourself to some nice food or visit somewhere new, might help to lift your spirits. I hope that you'll feel better soon.

Sorry to read that, Robin.
I know we're in very different time zones but my work and sleep hours are very random.
Don't hesitate to hit me up for a chat if you feel down. If I'm not on Steam, just leave a comment here on one of my old GAs here and I'll find you on Steam chat.

Have you read about the story of that ring which said "This too shall pass"? Gives you hope through your pain, and keeps you humble through your joy.
Might I ask what you are going through?
Couple of days ago I was in search of some good burgers. I loved a place nearby my home for their excellent burgers but sadly they closed down due to dispute with the place owner. The search is still on!

Keep your chin up. Friends come and go. When everybody is busy with their lives, you need to get busy with yours.
Try finding some group you like on meetup. Do some work for a charity. Anything that gets you outside and meeting new people.
I know it's not always easy to face new people but you'll find there are a lot of people out there who are like you and in need of friendship.

Some people do like (and even need) to be alone. Some need company. I'm in the latter category but when I am alone, I try to do it well.
If you don't make new friends right away, don't freak out, try to use the time alone to be with yourself. Listen to some music. Watch movies you enjoy. Play games you like. Enjoy your own company.
And don't give up on new friends. Freelance is a good idea. You'll make new connections. Good luck :)

Hey everyone.
How are you all doing? I am really going through a rough patch in my life surrounded by so much negativity lately. Just been lurking here and there to keep my mind off from things. It's been a long while since I had any kind of conversation with anyone. Friends are too busy to meet up. Couple of my dearest work colleagues have been transferred to work in other cities far far away. Felt so down and out.
