In English, there are two "proper" responses.
"Thank you." (This shows appreciation for the non-Muslim's attempt to be polite and/or nice.)
"And you," or "Wa iyyaak." (This returns what was said, giving the like of that which was received.)

I have met many Muslims in my life, and some of them would probably not agree with my original statement. However, the majority of them would, and, more importantly, those Muslims who take their religion seriously and are familiar with its tenets would definitely find the song's flippant reference to the holy month of Ramadhaan to be disrespectful and that video's injection into this thread to be boorish.
As far as I can tell, you are not a practicing Muslim, so you would not be expected to know the various ahaadeeth which apply to that video. I also allowed that you may not be familiar with the lyrics of the song, nor how its nature might be offensive to some people. That is why I gave you the benefit of the doubt and assumed you were ignorant about your faux pas. Now that you have been informed, the polite (and simple) thing to do would be to apologize for the mistake and correct it.

if you wanted the video taken down you should have only asked, i would be happy to. it brought joy to my 4 Muslim friends who i showed it to. also how long does it take for a report to get checked? got 2 week old report of ASCII porn and a 3 almost 4 months old report of a video somebody posted using a pocket pussy

It depends on how long it takes Support Staff to get to them through the queue. Fortunately for you, I still retain Mod status despite being "retired" from this site, so I can take a look. Also, for future reference, User Reports usually take longer to get to than other types of tickets because they often involve investigation and the collecting of information before action may be taken. (Including relevant information so as to aid in the investigation helps speed things along.)
