So as you can see here there are more of these things coming. The difficult, really big and alpha fund bundles. What games do you think will they include?
Super Meat Boy and that Chinese overhead shooter with lots of projectiles for the difficult bundle?
A lot of $1-5 games (Fortix?) for the big bundle?
No idea what could be in the last one though. 0_o

If the Project Zomboid guys get their shit back together, they'll probably be in the alpha funding thing since AFAIK that seems to be their current business model anyway. It's already being sold on Desura, too.

I've been wanting to try Project Zomboid for a bit. Hoping for it to make it into the alpha bundle.

I've already seen the list of the games (not sure if it was full), it mostly consists of the games from the HIBs. There are six other games, however: Bastion, LIMBO, DEFCON, AlternativA, S.U.R.V.I.V.O.R. and HOARD.

If you don't believe me, you can check it yourself. http://www.indieroyale.com/games/preview/*(insert game name here)*

That was debunked by the IndieRoyale guys. Those are supposedly previews for Desura

Oh, good to know. Too bad, I was actually excited about Bastion and LIMBO.

Are you sure? Because searching for Trine or Xonotic states that it's available on Windows, Mac and Linux and as far as I know, Desura is only available for Windows (maybe Linux as well, but definitely not for Mac).
Bastion, LIMBO and Xonotic would be awesome.

The Big Bundle is likely referring to "big" games. If you look at the image it shows 4 objects undernath the dome, just like all other other pictures. Now, big I suppose could mean large games as far as they have a lot of content, or perhaps big titles that are well known indie titles (or perhaps indie games that were published by big name companies). Their FAQ also states every bundle will feature 4 games, so it is unlikely to mean a higher quantity.

As far as hard one, SMB is a solid choice, VVVVV maybe, though repeating a recent HiB game would not be the best idea. Jamestown perhaps.

Alpha one is referring to crowdfunding games in an alpha state, so it could be a ton of games that are in early stages. Probably give you early access to alpha/Beta builds and the finished product when it arrives. Project Zomboid does seem like a good choice being one of the more known alpha funding games of late, but it could be quite a few games.

The fact that they aren't forcing games to all have Windows/Mac/Linux releases means we could see a muchd wider selection of games really than the HiB

I WANT OVERGROWTH IN THE ALPHA BUNDLE. PRETTY PLEASEEE.

Not going to happen :D

Overgrowth is by Wolfire the guys who made the first HiB. Who might still be the ones doing them. That would be very bad for competition.

I'm hoping for Xenonatus in the Alpha, but I really doubt it at the same time.

The guys from Wolfire still work for the HIB team, well, they're the ones who make the promo videos. However, the HIB and the indie royale bundles look very similar.

What's with this "competition" thing? Do people really think that indie games are so popular that devs are afraid of having sales stolen from them? Wake up, indie games are very very niche. HIB and indieroyale aren't competing, they're both just trying to build up the indie community. Having another indie bundle site isn't going to hurt HIB. Just look at HIB's current sales, they're still going strong. Now, if there were like 10 indie bundles going on every 2 weeks, then sure, the word competition should make it into the discussion. However, right now, there's enough customers for both HIB and indieroyale to cooexist.

I see 4 wide boxes (compare the colors & shading to the boxes in the 2nd bundle). I'd say these are "big" games in some sense, but still only 4

Alpha Fund is a program started by the great guys and gals at ModDB/IndieDB/Desura, the games include Survivors of Ragnarok, King Arthur's Gold, Project Zomboid, Wyv and Keep: The Temple of The Lost Idol, Rotion, Navigator, Eight Days In Convoke, and Commander.

Most of the games are already discounted and I own a few, it will be a great bundle!

"Chinese overhead shooter with lots of projectiles"

You mean the Touhou series? I've never played nay of those, but would snatch it up the second it's in a bundle.

I thought the big bundle was four realllllly long games (because there's only four boxes, and I'm pretty sure the content is usually going to be four games), though from the picture it could be 8. Probably won't be swarms of stuff, more like either double or just really big (perhaps well known?) games.
