If you ever feel super low and down in the dumps I reccomend Winnie The Pooh. Seriously, it has cheered me up a lot the past week. Wholesomeness will save your life.

If you have trouble with feeding yourself right here are two suggestions that aren't expensive and are at least healthier than fast food:

(Look in the description for the written recipes. If you're wondering what cooking oil he uses it's grapeseed oil. You can get stuff like soy sause, oyster sauce and fish sauce from Asian grocery shops just ask them if you're not sure. They're not expensive I promise! You also can use a grater instead to make your carrots and potatoes super thinly cut. there's a side that does basically what he does in the video and it takes way less time so don't fret if you're not very patient. If frying eggs is a challenge for you don't worry, you can crack the egg in a bowl first and then drop it on the frying pan.)
And for those really lazy days and if you're a picky eater remember that soup keeps you fed!
You can get frozen veggies like this for cheap and that's all your prep work done for you. You don't need to buy super fresh expensive veggies to eat well, frozen is fine:
Use a veggie or a chicken/beef broth cube and a bit of water in a pan. Turn on the heat and disolve the cube in the water. Add some more water, you kind of have to eyeball it, sorry. Add your seasonings the usual is salt and pepper but I replace pepper with chilli powder. I also add garlic powder and thyme. Rub the thyme between your palms as you're putting it in the pan to release the flavour. You can also add curry powder, paprika, etc. Google "seasonings for vegetable soup" and see what appeals to you. Be careful to not add to much salt or too much spicy things. Stirr, turn the heat back on and let it be until you see it bubling a little. Taste it so that you know your seasonings are okay. If anything is too much just add more water. You can add your frozen veggies as you please now. When I was little it was hard to feed me so my mom added ground beef to the soup as well. Maybe add some too? Cook until you poke the veggies and they're soft.
I don't like to munch on soup so after it's done I throw it in the blender. Your soup is now a drink. Take out however much you want to eat and put the rest in a container and in the fridge. It lasts 8 days. If you want it to last more you can put it in individual containers and freeze it. You can add a sandwich to this meal if it's not filling enough but it at least gives you a proper nutrient intake which is important for your physical and mental health.
If you're wondering what I'm drinking erm, I usually mix fruit juice with uh... Fizzy water? More fizzy water than juice because even "natural" juices have a lot of sugar and preservartives and stuff that aren't really good for me. My stomach is sensitive.)
I hope this helps anyone struggling with taking care of themselves. I understand that it can be hard, specially now during the pandemic. But it will be over soon okay? Just a little longer and we'll be back to normal and able to breathe easy. Don't despair okay?

I love to combine fruit juice and sparkling water, and I've recently discovered bottled cranberry juice concentrate - pour about an inch of it in a glass, and fill the rest with sparking water (Perrier is my favourite) for a really good, healthy beverage. If you're feeling like drinking a sweeter beverage, adding a bit of sugar makes for (still) a healthier option than most soft drinks. ^^

Weirdly enough I never found any type of cranberry or prune juice here? It's always various red fruits mixed together so that's what I drink. If I'm lucky I can find healthier fruit juices in the market sometimes but they're very pricey. After seeing how much sugar soft drinks have and what it does to people mentally + gaining weight during the pandemic I was like yeaaahh-nope!

And yeah, I try to avoid sugary soft drinks. I drink a lot of store-bought iced-tea though, and I think I'd be lying to myself if I said these are any better - they have a lot of sugar and many also even have sucralose (although whether it's a health concern is debatable, I prefer to avoid it where possible). I consider it a lesser evil, but still a tea-flavoured equivalent of soft drinks to be enjoyed in moderation. :P

As much as I like iced-tea I'm afraid to say that they have hardly any tea in them nowadays. It's mostly flavourings and stuff. :c But if you basically cut everything out of your diet in some paranoid craze your body is going to go into some serious withdrawal and you're going to end up binge eating or drinking the things that are bad for you so like you said, moderation really is the key. What's bad for people is to binge drink or eat bad things every single day.

2 liters of ice tea (from a store) have around 32 dices of sugar (the ones with reduced sugar!) and in 95% of the cases that ice tea haven't real tea in it and only instant "powder" with the taste of tea.
It was my main drink years ago.
I picked one with real tea and lesser sugar but it still had very much.
For a girlfriend i jumped to 5 days without ice tea and it was horrible for me :-D .... but i seen my medicine worked much better without the ice tea, so i switched complete to juices and flavored water. First was the flavored water ugly because not sweet enough.
After a few months i switched to, silent, water, it was ugly again^^.
A half year later i tested ice tea again and was near the limit to puke because it was bestialic sweet.
Since i avoid a big bunch of sugar i am much more healthy. No joke.
Headache stuff much lower, sleep problems much lower, concentration better, more energy and a better mood in general.

Well i know that one(as an info not in that moment i was missed/forget it ) but i don't like grammer(and also bad at it and thinking about grammer made me uncomfortable) so usually i write without thinking(i can do a lot of things without thinking while following my feelings(it's cause these awful paragraph tho))about it (changes to situation and my feelings)and usually opponent is understand what I meant so I'm being lazy about it time to time
