Opened stockings with husband and kid. Tacked some Celeste. Made gingerbread cookies. More sugar later. Possibly making lazy tacos for dinner. Moar video games. Endeavoring to be lazy despite being the person relied upon to organize and cook everything.

I actually use leftover take-out Mexican food to make lazy tacos. Reheat beans, rice, add in leftover meat from something, fresh avocado or salsa. Put soft taco shell in thin skim of hot oil in pan, put cheese on top. Take out of pan when crispy edges, and top with desired leftover bits.
Fast, because using leftovers, feels fresh because melty cheese and crisp taco.
But we'll probably do cereal for dinner or something one of these nights. :D

Staying with family, trying to find time from somewhere, ANYWHERE, to do all the things I want and need to do. A stressful time, but whenever children are involved, it's also a beautiful time.

I've translated yet another 3000 words for a popular mobile game, yeah. And that's what I'll be doing for the next few days as well.

my little one has been sick for the last 4 weeks, started with an ear infection, and seems to get cold between and ended up with influenza A.
Unfortunately, pretty sure the ear infection could be cleared in the first week instead of going with four weeks if I went to private as I am not happy with the GPs (UK). And for influenza, it took them a long time to diagnose it (understanding and lab results). We had to stay overnight at the hospital for two days and returned just now. So,, I'm just going to sleep. I just hope my gallbladder stays ok during this holiday period as I am exhausted. Else I would just play fallout 2
Still, I am grateful for every day and everything as every time I go to the hospital I witness the children and parents who are not lucky and have to struggle more due to sad things.
Hope you will have a wonderful year Lugum

I once had an ear infection around 16, was awful can imagine how worse it's even be for a small child.
And yeah our healthcare used to be free until we were forced to get insured, which gets more expensive every year, i so feel this should be a basic right for everyone.
Is the gallbladder a stress thing?
Thank you, i hope a wonderful year for you too (the end of this and offcourse 2025).

My sister had me over. It's been a bad 6 months for me and I wasn't really in the mood but she was keen but it ended up being nice. She bought too much food (again) including some very dodgy rainbow carrots. Some Christmas tv and DVDs (finally found my Father Ted DVD in storage 😄) so it was good. Stupidly agreed to cover someone's shifts on Boxing day & 27th - they're going to have a long weekend on the beach now that the hot beach weather is incoming "sick" apparently 🙄. Still, public holiday money will be good and with 38C tipped for 27th I'd rather be in aircon anyway.
Hope you & everyone else had nice day!

Hi! Started the day with some old memories coming back (I started a therapy two months ago and it reminds me of childhood stuff that I put away in my mind), then did some soup, took some time for myself, baked some stuff for tomorrow's breakfast, ate popcorn in front of a movie, played an idle game and impulsively bought Vampire Therapist (and tried it, it is quite nice for now).
I quite enjoyed the day, it was almost peaceful (if you forget about the start of it).

I just spent the day at home with my family, eating a bit too much as usual for christmas, good thing we had a relatively fresh day unlike the usual weather for this late in December so we even had the chance to sit on the yard for a while instead of having to spend all day locked up with the air con at full blast like other years.
Now, I'd really like if people stopped with the fireworks for a change because my dogs have a crisis due to the noise, last night I had to comfort one of them until like 2AM because he's particularly sensible to that stuff. Not looking forward to new years, will probably have to give them one of those tranquilizers that they sell at the vets, even tho I tend to try to avoid doing so.

I guess I could see if they have something like that on the pet store, it has to be better than having to drug them. Living a few blocks away from downtown and right next to the avenue that borders the river means that not only do I get noise from the fireworks in this city but also from the neighboring city across the river plus the echo.

Just having a salad and see it as any other day. :x And trying out a 1400 piece puzzle in pixel puzzles, while normally with jigidi's my limit would have been 300 but atleast it's colorful (flowerfield) and later some csi games (i always thought any old game would always run in a virtual setting i even managed to get star trek borg and discworld noir running, but the csi ones are a real pain, i would really suggest keeping an old pc with just windows 98/xp or something.
