I hope I can graduate to play something without worrying about college.

But I already have a job, and I'm not worried about losing it [I'm a public servant].

Aren't you ashamed with yourself that you actually played your games :p ?

Now that's a publisher I haven't heard of in a while. Admittedly I don't play HOGs, but I think the last time I heard about them was with the release of Governor of Poker 2 (which doesn't even seem to be published by them on steam, oddly enough)

Oh, they are still around and being the biggest player in the casual market. But their own platform still has the old pricing policy, so they dump only the older games on Steam, with two sales in total a year. Still, this means I can get some 2013-2016 high-grade HOGs at around 4 USD each, which is the price point I am happy with when it comes to these 2-4 hour long adventures.

I'd really like to get a deal on Scythe, but seeing as it just came out, I'm not holding my breath.

Congrats on chipping away at that backlog. I managed to get from 69% to 75% completion of my SG wins this year. I'm aiming for 80% now :)
I'm not sure I will end up buying anything this year. I have my eye on Graveyard Keeper but it doesn't release until the middle of August, which is probably after the sale ends. I might get some DLC for Victor Vran if it's discounted by a decent amount. I'm more interested in getting through my backlog!

I'm probably going to get Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. I may get Dishonored 2 as well. I'll try to resist the rest. Considering the size of my backlog, and despite efforts to reduce it it's still going in the wrong direction, I really don't need any more games :P.

I'm keeping an eye on FF XV, Cuphead, Vanquish, Bayonetta, The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Aragami and NieR:Automata but I'm in no rush so it depends on how good the discount is for them.

I'm on 52% finished! Not played many PC games recently that I can finish. Mostly multiplayer! But hey, I finished Zelda: Breath of the Wild on switch and then Detroit: Become Human on the PS4 and man it was a great experience!

I hope I don't have to buy anything but if I can't resist then I hope I buy something I can enjoy.

OMG YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED NEXT. THIS USER HAS MANAGED TO REMOVE 70% OF HIS SG WINS from his backlog USING THIS ONE SIMPLE TRICK playing and beating them
Now that I got the shitpost out of the way to be honest I wanted to make it at 69% beaten, but it jumped from 68% to 70% ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, you can have some giveaways for the occasion. Hoping I'll get to 80%+ before the end of the year, but it's quite unlikely due to some upcoming games I plan on getting at launch, which will take up a considerable amount of time to beat.
Also, instead of random bumps, feel free to mention what you're hoping to buy during this summer sale. Anything you hope to get a decent discount on?
