How long did it take you to win anything on SG?

About 1500 entries in the old system where there were more points available (but probably bigger competition in every GA). You don't have even 400 entries so it might take some time unless you're rrally unlucky. Also look for groups (especially Unlucky 7 in your case), puzzles, forum giveaways, hidden GAs in the descriptions of public GAs, contribute to the community (not only in giveaways, also be active in the forums, create puzzles and interesting threads, be helful to newcomers etc) - you might find yourself on some whitelista if you're an okay person.

Never won anything.

Depends greatly on what you enter, what groups you're in, and of course how lucky you are.
I got my first win being really lucky 2 weeks after I created my account.

My first win was 20 days after I joined the site. ... I think I was already level 3 at that time.
Raising my level pushed the amount of GAs I could enter and after joining various groups and contributing to the community on a regular basis I'm currently at a point where I win atleast 1-2 games each month although I just enter stuff that I actually play. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just keep staring at the discussions. There's always some interesting stuff to find and you might be able to access some special giveaways that way as well.

On my second day, there was a GA with 25k keys and just 22k entires, so this doesn't really count ^^

My first real win was on my 3rd day I won a lvl1 game with 661 entires. I never won another GA with such a small chance since then.

As IovoI said, the best chance is with invitation, group or WL giveaways.

A really cheap game (1p) with 487 Entries.

It depends much which GA's you enter and where you find them.

I optimize now much more since at my first days on sg.
I would never join really cheap games with 487 entries BUT on lvl 0 your possibilities are much bader then on higher levels. So i think that entries number was "great" for that time.

The others say all advices to made it easyer for you.

You are on the forum and have found alone with that much better GA possibilities and win chances.
And must not battle with so much autojoiners, botters and extreme leechers.
Better for your mental health, the/your happienes and to found nice people :o)

For me it was 4 months, and a lot of entries before first win.

after 1k entires

Around 700 entries.

took me 800 entries for the first one. many followed after that. ^^

It took me 2 months.

I won before I joined.

4 days, then a month. Can't recall the number of entries tho.

About 2 weeks after joining. A pubic level 0 GA with 714 entries.

I don't know the exact amount of entries, but I think it was about 500 to 600.

I won my first GA on my first day! It was for a DLC pack for Trainz Simulator, giving away 5 copies and only 53 people entered.

My first win was 4 weeks ago, and while I've been a member for 3 years...it's really only been about two months that I've been back. Forgot about SG for a long time as I never really had games to give and didn't like entering for games when I couldn't also afford to give. :/

More than a year. I only enter for games I really want to play so I guess that makes it take a while.
