How long did it take you to win anything on SG?

I haven't had to link this for a while. These topics aren't as common as they once we're.

About 4 years of sporadically entering giveaways, about a month of being active daily and giving away my own games.

To be fair, I only enter for games I'm excited about playing, that are either on my wishlist or I'm considering adding to my wishlist. I think I've been pretty lucky on SG so far.

About month. There was some giveaways in this thread. Since there was ITH gate (well you had only to know what game is giving away by looking on screenshot from this game) there was only 24 entries in total.

My first giveaway entry was my second win... Was a private giveaway for another site, I entered, then entered a few other random giveaways, won one of those random ones, then won the private one, and forgot about this site for like a year after that.

There is no need to guess if you're lucky or not. Its in your stats.

"Overall, you've been unlucky, and won 11 fewer gifts than estimated since you first joined."

4 months for my first win. And another 5 months for the next one.

I won a game in my first (or maybe second) week.
It was shadowrun Hong Kong, 2 copies and ~4700 entries. :)

On SG? Yes. In general (life etc.)? No.

I just enter on games that i really want to play, so probably i never ever will win a game here =P

I won my first 6 days after I joined SG, which I consider 'lucky' since I really didn't know how the site worked at the time.

If you're having trouble winning anything, you might want to be less selective of the giveaways you enter because your profile says you entered 392 giveaways since you registered nearly two years ago. Contributing to SG more and raising your levels will increase your chances, but it helps if you keep spending your points consistently. Also, you may want to consider joining groups, like Unlucky 7 for example... just make sure you read group rules before requesting an invite.

About one month. I said I wouldn't give away anything until I knew for sure it wasn't scam so when I did I was very clever and actually bought steam games to giveaway :P glad I know about bundles now..

I only won Gunpoint 3 days ago, after ~1600 entries

Won a game like literally the next day, some group was posting a giveaway with like thousands of copies and I entered it, that's how I got here, well I was inactive for a few months after registration but after a point update on orlygift and the drama with gleam I came here to leech, after some time I started gifting too and now I'm sitting on bundles that I bought for giveaways but I'm too lazy to create them 😅
