Sorry To Bother You is up there. For a few reasons. Midsommar. But..... the one that left me legitimately unsettled more than any other of recent is Hotel Mumbai. It's fantastic. It's a really hard movie to watch. At least for me.
Also..... Oh my GOD Night Patrol is SO BAD. SO VERY VERY BAD. It's also extremely funny because of that. Shake your head and laugh funny.

If you mean Sorry To Bother You, it was already a strange movie, but thennnnnnnn.......
Hotel Mumbai is brutal. It was one of the best movies of last year, but it's REALLY hard to recommend.

Yeah Sorry To Bother You. it was completely unexpected. I love that movie though. Haven't seen Hotel Mumbai, but I can't help but wonder if it's anything like Hotel Rwanda.

Hotel Mumbai is based on the true events of the 2008 Mumbai/Taj Hotel terrorist attacks. Lots of people being gunned down by terrorists with no mercy. Violence rarely bothers me, but that one...... that one bothered me.

Actually the most disturbing video I ever saw was this video of the White Snake fire, Seriously I don't reccomend watching it, you see people die a horrible death, I'm still bothered by it.

Yeah, I hate that movie, animal cruelty pisses me off.

Movies with trained animals can be worse when it comes to animal abuse, you just cant see behind the scenes. For example the The Adventures of Milo and Otis the animals are put through some really dangerous stunts.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure standards for monitoring animal cruelty are better now than they were back then, but there are some movies that make me wonder. Like movies where horses get shot and tumble face first down a steep hill, I've seen similar stunts multiple times and it seems impossible to do safely.

The original Exorcist. I got the anthology collection 9 or 10 years ago, watched the first one, terrified me so I popped the disc out, put it back in the anthology, and threw the whole pack in the garbage. Didn't matter that it was so dated when I saw it, it still terrifies me thinking about it. Never. Again.

964 Pinocchio was propably the most disturbing I've seen (I've seen Serbian Film and Human Centipede 1&2)

Guinea Pig I think it was called or something similar. Was a snuff film. But it was only disturbing to me back then because I was young and thought it was real

not counting trash movies made to be disgusting, because i ignore them, i must pick color out of space. it's pretty unnerving despite being made with a limited budget.
event horizon also left me with some nightmares when i watched it 😅
edit: the lighthouse is also a bit disturbing.

But low budget slashers are the best when it comes to gore like this German slasher called Anthropophagous 2000.

So I'm on the phone with my friend and he's reading a list of disturbing movies. Which got me things, and we all know that's a BAD thing.
What's the most disturbing movie you ever saw?
I might have to say that Antichrist might have to be the most disturbing I can remember.
Except for Night Patrol which was the most disturbingly hilarious movie.
Sorry for no GA. Nothing to give at the moment.
