Question about Deus Ex: Humar Revolution giveaways

I noticed that from time to time, a giveaway for normal version will pop out, not for Director's Cut.

Now my question is, what version will I get if I activate it on Steam? The normal or Director's Cut version?

Normal version as it's still possible to activate keys, etc. for games no longer listed on Steam.

I think you will get the normal version if the gifter didn't make a mistake. I traded for normal version some time ago and it didn't change to DC after activating it. :-)

Also worth noting that the Director's Cut is listed as a totally separate game in your library. I bought it thinking it was a patch to merge the DLC but it's not.
