What is your "Uplay email"? I logged into my Uplay account but I can't see any indication that I have a Uplay e-mail address.

At least they’re being communicative. I wouldn’t have expected it would be that arduous to add the game to any uplay account that played for long enough, but they seem to be working on it. Hopefully soon!

One year later ...
UBI: Good news! we continue to fight toxicity instead of Cheating/Hacking in R6. BTW we are still working on sending free copy of AC:O to Project stream testers. Be patient:)

Still no free game and it looks like that last agent was wrong and at this point not sure if Ubisoft themselves know when it will be released... but I have a funny suspicion that we will probably get it when the lunar sale is done - since they probably wouldn't want to be giving away the game when the game is on sale for half off to try and entice those who cannot wait to pay for it.
I've been keeping an eye on the project stream reddit to see if anything is there and that is what most people are thinking and even some would say they would buy it in a heartbeat if their saves stilled transferred.
I myself can wait since I've got other games to hold me over till then, but I think what will probably end up happening we will forget about this and then one day we will get a surprise email of the free game.

I played for around 2.5 hours but my page says 1 hour 26 minutes. I don't know how they are measuring playtime but it seems to be a little off.

I was lucky enough to launch it for 2 minutes ebcause the project stream only let me pass once before giving me again connection errors. It says 0 minutes on my profile

I got the same email a little while ago. I'm looking forward to getting the game when they eventually hand it out. I put in over 75 hours and would like to pick up the expansion packs as I really liked the game.

I'd be okay with just getting the game and starting over -- I did not get very far -- but I do appreciate that the people who put in a ton of time will see their progress carried over. And patience is a small price to pay when it's the only price!

Just went to check, and indeed the game has been added to my account and I am downloading it now. No email or anything either. Just dropped in there silently and without a noise. I'm not complaining, though!

I see it in my Ubisoft Club games website list but not in my UPlay launch client. What is going on?
Update: after rebooting the launch client the games appeared finally. Hooray.
Unfortunately I can't download it this month because I am close to my datacap limit so I will have to wait till March.
Now I just need to upgrade my gpu to be able to do it justice. haha.
Only AC game I am missing is AC Origins.

What do you mean? Check your uninstalled games list(which is below the installed one) on the Uplay launch client. It should be there. If not quit the client and relaunch.

As an update to this I just checked my uplay since was going to play a game I recently bought during the lunar sale and then behold I noticed it was in my library. I downloaded it and it has my save... but a thing I noticed though that my uplay stats are like reset.

Google's Project Stream beta test, first announced in October, allows you to play Assassin's Creed Odyssey by streaming from their servers over the Chrome browser. Originally, the test period was scheduled to end in January and you would lose access to the game and all your progress if you bought the game at a later point. However, Ubisoft has announced today that participants will get a full Uplay copy of the game after the test ends, and will even get to keep their progress. The only requirement to get the full free copy is just to play it on Project Stream for at least 1 hour. Looks like sign ups are still open.
Requirements: Chrome browser, fast Internet connection (recommended 25+ megabits per second), 17 years or older and live in the U.S.
