[Free] Project Stream Participants to get Free Copy of Assassin's Creed Odyssey (PC, U.S. only)

ive been in for a while now and never got the email about getting the game for free....i hope i can still get it for playing the hour

Got accepted but no chance I can run it on my own internet, I'll have to take my rig up to my sister's and see how I get on there.

Played it for about an hour and a half. Haven't gotten any email about getting a full free copy, but I'll worry about that later.
Going to play it as much as I can until January 15. 😊

I gotta say, I think Google may be on to something. My potato wouldn't be able to play this game normally (or most other recent titles for that matter), but this runs perfectly through Chrome.

Any tips on how to get past the verification point? Seems it can't be passed for non-US residents? :(

I played for about 2 hours today and it works really great. I love that you don't have to download anything and you can just start playing. My PC never got hot and the fans never turned on. I only had a few brief periods where the entire screen got blurred and pixelated for a few seconds, but they really got this streaming service working well, for now at least.I would definitely consider using this Google service if it comes out in addition to Steam

Update: I was accepted (looks like it took maybe a week to get accepted?) and so far after playing 30 minutes I impressed how the game runs and looks via stream and so far for the 30 minutes playing had no issues with the game going blurry at all, but I noticed towards the end I did get like a warning about a spotty connection, but even having that error the stream did not change at all.

I still can't get past the requeriments. It's kinda stupid my connection is decent for streaming yet Google decide's to make them so high that in my country it's impossible to futfill those requeriments.

Thanks for letting everyone know about this! I got accepted & have been playing, pretty impressive not having to download anything & still having it work pretty well. Streaming entire games will probably always be a niche thing, but if the quality standards keep going up then it could be more worth considering for more people. The free game & microtansaction bucks are nice too :^ ).

Does anyone know how it tracks time played? The save file or does it track time in browser. Iv played over an hour but the save file didnt save past a few minutes.

I managed to surpass the packet loss requeriment but can't pass the ms requeriment and even less the Mps (it requires 15 and the max I'm able to get is 3 here)
