Yes.
For example:
I bought Tidalis a couple of weeks ago, it was on sale for 1.50. I put a copy up on here while the game was still on sale. The giveaway was for the 9.99 regular price.

When you put a game up for a give away, are the points generated for you and therefore the cost of entry based on the price of the game when it was purchased or the current price?
That is to ask, if I buy a game on sale for a buck and put it up right away will it only be worth 1 point?
That is to ask, if I buy a game on sale for a buck and put it up after the sale is over will it only be worth 1 point or will it be worth full price?
