First car was a 1985 Ford LTD that I bought for 300 USD. Had 210k miles on it (338k km) and died 6 months later at 220k miles (354k km) when something bounced off the road and hit the oil pan, bending the oil rod. That car was huge but i loved it.
Second was a 1991 Chevy S10 Extended Cab that had 150k miles (241k km) that I had for a little under a year before the engine seized up. Loved that thing too, even though I had nothing but problems with it. Brakes randomly went out one die, turned out a caliper bolt had fallen out. The windshield leaked when it rained, mostly around the mirror so it usually ended up covered in water. The heat didn't work so winter was freezing. The parking brake was shot so I had to leave it in gear (manual). And finally, the engine decided it was time to lose all of it's oil by spraying it out the sides of the engine, and causing the engine to seize up. It was so old and stuck together that I couldn't even fix it without buying a new engine. It was impossible to get the engine apart. So, after a year of messing with it, I ended up just getting rid of the truck and using the third car I had bought (2004 Chevy Malibu) while I was trying to fix it.

Cars are wildly overrated. It's fun when you begin driving, all that "freedom" and such... I used to travel for hundreds of kilometers at a time, stopping only for gas... but when you're stuck in traffic for hours every day, forced to share the road with jackasses that most likely bought their licenses, it quickly becomes a mind-numbing chore. Living in a small/medium town with decent public transportation is a much better choice.

a 1971 AMC Hornet Sportwagon exactly like this one but a light green color.
It was actually a great car for a kid, we had so much fun with it and it only ever had one issue with the fuel pump. Honestly have NO idea what the mileage was, it was old, so probably a lot... Sure we paid under $800usd for it.

Peugeot 206, small but cheap and economical car. I was using it for 3 years until some idiot crashed into me jumping out of sideroad. Then I was driving Daewoo Nexia I got for free from my uncle who bought new car. Then it's engine died and it was too expensive to repair. And for now I don't have car atm ;)

Woah, that's a pretty dangerous combination tbh :D Definitely not wise for 16 year old but oh well, as long as you don't get yourself or anyone else killed ^^ I wish I had more horses, having 143hp currently and it doesn't really seem to be enough :/ Could be worse though.

My first car was a 1993 Ford ED Falcon GLi, bought end of 2006. Cost me AUS$3000, can't remember how many kilometers, probably in the vicinity of 200000 and I had it for a year and a half before someone else wrapped it around a tree :/

Citroen Dyane. 21st birthday present from my father. Brilliant car. Had so much fun with it. I only sold it when it became a problem starting it in the morning. I can't remember what the mileage was - it was almost 30 years ago!

My first car was a Seat Ibiza 1.4tdi 90HP, bought around Q3 2006 after having worked and saved money for almost 1 year. Before that I used to borrow my dad's car (asthmatic 1997 Ford Escort 1.8D) or use public transportation (bus or train).
I sold my Ibiza after 4 years and 70.000km for almost 60% of it's value (it was in pristine conditions) as I got access to a company car. Since then I had the chance to ride a Mercedes C-class 200CDI (beautiful car but too tanky for the motor power), an Audi A4 (that was the bomb !!!) and, my current car, an Alfa-Romeo Giulietta.
I need to order a new one as my leasing will be soon over, atm I'm looking at the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake 200CDI :)

Title says it all: what was your first car? How many driven kilometers did it have, how much did it cost, how long did you have it (if you already have a new one), etc etc :)
So, I bought my own car ~7 months ago. BMW E46 318Ci Cabriolet (2004), which had 134 000 driven kilometers and a price tag of 10 000€. Saved money for five years (summer jobs) and it was totally worth it, loving that car. Could have a bigger engine but oh well, next car then. Can't wait for summer, it's just so amazing to drive with the top down.
edit: Since everyone is sharing pictures of their cars, might as well show my baby
