Time to continue my playthrough of Portal 2 after I get the Steam Trading Card Beta Access I guess :3

anybody knows how to get a (foil) card like these and what is the difference to the normal?

Whatever this is I instinctively dislike it and hope the beta fails and it all goes away and leaves me alone lol.

Since I got a plus game and have more money on my steam wallet than prior to buying the beta, I'm not all that disappointed.

I wish Valve would stop releasing community updates that the vast majority of steam users would NEVER use and update the program itself.

Valve knows how to make awesome the simple idea of getting smileys for steam chat or profile customisation.

Approximately how long do I have to wait after joining the group? I don't need to access it as quickly as possible, but an estimate would be nice.

Looks interesting, and will be a good excuse to go back and play a few older games that have been gathering dust.

Kinda surprised that nobody noticed the Skyrim badge. :/
Anyway, I'll wait until this goes out of beta. This will give me one more reason to replay Portal 2 (aside from the Challenge mode) and Half-Life 2 (aside from beating the game on Hard and getting the extras cheevs).
