My First Puzzle. Sorry if i made some mistake
http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/5LPlUVC9
GA HB link inside (it's over)

--------------------- 3/4/2015 ---------------------
I know the punctuation in Q4 is annoying so here the answer:

Q4: Magic mirror, on the wall - who is the fairest one of all?

You still have to solve the rest to get part 2 and part 3
I've been very busy the last few days. So i will update Part 2 this weekend.
thank you for patiently waiting

--------------------- 5/4/2015 ---------------------
update Part 2, link will be inside Part 1

Would have been useful if all quotes used the exact fragment (punctuation and all) from IMDb.

Got q4, yes punctuations

Comment has been collapsed.

Which punctuations? I'm not asking for the answer btw, just the punctuation marks you used, in any order?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

punctuations not original phrase, but very easy to brute force if you think
and make sure to use right sentence so it is really punctuation case

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I've used the "correct quote" according to Wiki & IMDB with every possible punctuation I can think of that makes sense but nothing has worked :/

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

it IS makes sense, you should think how correct

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

So you're saying the quote, as OP put it is correct in wording but not in punctuation?

Permalink

quote "if I get it right, the Q4 I must correct the incorrect by incorrecting the correct one."

...what ?

if OP not going to remove this restriction in punctuation in his questions to pass the puzzle no more hint is possible to give, this is all you need, think, it is make sense

Thanks for your help, I finally got it...now I just need to brute force the Brad Pitt one...

I guess it would be breaking the puzzling rules to give any further hints regarding replacing the wording, or not, and leaving the punctuation, or not...

Brad Pitt is very easy, there is hint for it,

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Oh I know that, but I can only think of one movie that I know of that he was in with ANY kind of link to the hint, and that one is apparently wrong, and I also tried the most obvious answer suggested by the hint, even if I don't think he's IN that movie, and that doesn't work either

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

hmm maybe you're wrong and this is not the movie you thinking of because there is nothing wrong with the answer according to IMDB Wiki and other sites

I'm currently working through his entire filmography (movies at least, not TV appearances) from IMDB...and I'm up to Kalifornia with no luck yet

lol you are too ..far away
read the hint one more time, give 5 min to it and 30 sec to guess the answer

Well I started all the way back at Hunk/Less Than Zero/No Man's Land and I'm now up to The Favor so I'll get there eventually

hint hint
read, it is obvious, don't go even more far away

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Oh I've tried Far Cry...AND Far Cry 4 just to be sure, and neither worked so it can't be that obvious

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

obvious, take a break or.. what can I say only brute force his filmography it is not too much
at least when you will force answer you will understand hint

Basically, what Lavito is saying is that you kinda need to merge the quote from the question AND the correct quote, somehow....if you follow my meaning

Many movies have a magic mirror with a version of the famous quote, how'd you know which to use?

Permalink

Use the original movie

Comment has been collapsed.

Even though it didn't make much sense to me... i...

Tried no commas... that's 1.
Tried all 3 combinations of just 1 comma... that's 3 more.
Tried all 3 combinations of 2 commas... that's 3 more.
Tried 3 commas, that's 1 more.

Tried all 8 combinations with the different conjugation suggested by the original movie quote, so 16 tries... still nothing. O.o

I just give up. :/

if I get it right, the Q4 I must correct the incorrect by incorrecting the correct one

That actually helped

Mix the formatting of the "incorrect quote" in the question with the wording of the original quote

For Q4, are we supposed to use " and - and ? from the example?

Cause, copy/pasting your example, and I fixed the multiple errors, still don't work.

I tried it with and without the ? many ways, and also with - many ways.

Does capitalization matter?

Grumble

edit, would you please make a possible answer have no punctuation?

I'm having a really hard time with Q4. Are the commas in really unusual places, like after the who ("Mirror, mirror on the wall who, is the fairest of them all?") or something like that? Because I've tried every single combination I could think of, and they're all incorrect.

Also, do I need to use the " "? I believe not, but again, every attempt I've made (without " ") was wrong.
