What does it take it to win?

To win you have to get picked. Other than that just try to enter the giveaway with a low number of entries. Lots of groups and private giveaways that have low entries, but you need to meet requirements to join.

It's hard to win when anonymous always wins

There is nothing that will increase your chances to win a giveaway.

It takes more entries than the 8 you have right now. Yes the database got wiped but I don't think you are going to win anything at the rate you are entering giveaways.

Just keep entering giveaways and eventually you will win, I didn't get my first win until like 800 giveaways entered. Your time will come.

well, I just won once, and it was a few days ago. I won Nosgoth Veteran. After 300+ entries. I know some people (before the wipe out) have 50+ wins and 300+ entries. You need to know the right people to be invited to group/private giveaways and to be on the right time to get only 200 entries on public giveaway.

speaking of (let me quote my self) "know the right people, or to be on the right time". There was a giveaway that ended 2 hours ago, and there was no entries or comment, but i commented anyways. A few minutes later, he (won't give out names) unexpectedly added me on steam and gave me the game. Thanks again if you are reading this. (you know who you are)

I have lost when there was only 2 entries. I have won when there was over 1000 entries. like any other contest or giveaway.....luck of the draw/right place right time. also lost giveaway and then giveaway creator gave me a copy anyway. very generous:)

I've won one gift about every thousand entries. It helps to enter giveaways with shorter open times and for games that aren't in intense demand.

Since if you go and enter a game that has like 3000 people it's like 0,03% to win, and then think about games that are like 10 000+
