Question about gifts and bans

So I recently "won" my first giveaway, private giveaway with only 3 people, but when I checked the Gifters profile it says hes banned. My question is...Is it safe to assume I won't be receiving this gift?

I honestly didn't really expect it to be a legit giveaway (what with the whole I had to do the sharecash thing), but I feel everyone deserves a chance, but any way if you need any reference or proof to answer the question or help in any way...
