Sadly, I don't think a petition is going to work with this. :(

It's not a "stubborn" issue though, it's a monetary/legal issue preventing it from being on Steam and lawyers RARELY ever listen to petitions. :(

They're so stubborn because of their insane love of money... It's almost as if they hold making money over seeking actual truth... -_-

You can still buy giftable copies from traders, that's what I did... But hurry, the stock is limited and I'm sure the price has strongly increased since then...

Not gonna happen.
You can still buy it from people, it's like 50+ dollars though.

It won't happen, ever. The company that made the game no longer holds the license, so it can't happen. You could offer them a million dollars, and they would still need to say No.
If you truly want the game, you have two options. Find a Steam trader that held onto copies of the game and pay what they want, or find a physical copy for either PS3 or 360.

or pay for the license on behalf of them. problem solved!

Activision lost the rights to publish and sell anything from Marvel.

Its perfectly fine. It was short, but enjoyable. I have several hours in it.
You seem to not own it on the other hand.

Ah. I'm too much used to people who ***** about games when they clearly don't own them.
I still stand by what I said. The game is good fun. Not perfect, but its enjoyable.

A lot of that might have been because of the base price of $40. Who wants to spend that much on a single game?

I know right, publishers should spend millions of dollars on a AAA game and then sell it in a bundle on launch. We should get 5 for $1.

I'm not expecting that either. However, it rarely got sales of any sort, which is how most people are likely to buy a game with a base price of $40.

I am pretty sure that if it somehow returned (probably not gonna happen ) the base price would be ~20$ by now.

That's nonsense. Shadow of Mordor is selling for 50 and it's selling like hotcakes. Borderlands The Pre-Sequal which is comparatively smaller than BL2 will probably also sell a couple million copies in the first week, despite the 50 buck price tag. The reason Deadpool didn't sell well was because it just wasn't a very good game.

Yes, and both those games are hyped well and from more trusted devs / publishers.
Deadpool was a game from Activision. Only their CoD series gets hyped well enough for the overpriced sales.
Also, how did you play it if you find it so terrible? I always find it interesting when the people stressing how bad a game is can't seem to show they own it.

It's rare for a game, any game to be priced at anything lower 50/60 bucks at release. Secondly, it's freaking Deadpool. It's not like this was a quiet release that noone knew about. It was hyped up just as much as any other title that's expected to see huge sales based on the title alone.
The game saw release on both console and PC with the PC version being a console port. Besides, I never said it was "terrible", just that it wasn't very good. And it's true. It was buggy as hell, extremely repetitive for a game that was so incredibly short as Deadpool was. For a game that was that short, it lacked any real replay value or online features. THOSE were the reasons the game sold poorly.

If something is overhyped it should never result in termination lol

Sorry man but I do not have the power to bring it to Steam and it is a big request but I am only a man and therefore I must kill you.

Sorry but there is no more room in this shelter for you.. I must murder your face!

Internet Petitions.. lol those make me laugh.. the only way you'll get the game back on Steam is by getting the Publisher to ditch a few millions to get back the rights for the Marvel characters they sell games with.. not happening. Disney owns Marvel now and they have all the power in this matter.

Already voted, but like most of the people i dont think it will work, anyway lets hope the best
