Shorter are better. It is fair to people who spend much time on SteamGifts to have more chance to win ;)

You can have a giveaway last for one minute if you wanted to. Just don't tell people about it for the first 59 minutes. :D

I like entering short giveaways but I, myself, create mostly longer ones (from 5 hours to 24 hours).

But I don't create any for people who contributed nothing so I guess the chances are equal then.

Short giveaways are made when the key is not fully legit and You want to get rid of it as fast as possible and gain some contributor value. ;)
