I feel for you, fellow soul. Fried gfx cards/displays are among the worst 1W problems one can have, especially with a game in the pipeline.

Also, I'm not interested in DOTA2, so you can freely delude yourself that my fake sympathy is not fake after all.

I wont fake some sympathy, ill give you some geniune sympathy. No man should be without his games during the holidays :c

How badly is your graphic card screwed? When my previous card crapped out on me, it only ended up showing strange artifacts in 3D, but 2D was fine. I think I was lucky while unlucky.

so shit happened:/ my proposal is to get for free some old pc (there is always some old pc hangin around), fire up linux and get some indies running for holidays. hl also uses to be ok for a low spec pc. not interested in dota2.
