Two Questions (because making two topics would give me hate)

Borderlands 2 is horrible, and the DLC is worse (though I have heard that the Psycho is fun and Tina's DLC is well worth the price [I'm not trying either anyway, so idgaf]). Also, I don't even think they're done releasing DLCs.

Either way, I'm going to avoid anything new related to Borderlands, unless it's a remake of 1 with the upgraded weapons, HUD, and BA ranks.

It's a long story.

First of all, it doesn't compare to 1 in ANY WAY besides story. I like BL2's story. It's good. Even though Handsome Jack is really less of an evil villain and more of your average charismatic businessman.

The weapons and BA rank systems are fine. Leveling up is OKAY. Not bad. Not really good either.

Missions get boring fast. A lot of them are a lot more tedious and a lot less interesting story-wise, than Borderlands.

The characters are less interesting. These are more blatant criminals, that have all actually committed crimes.

IIRC Roland left the Crimson Lance and Lilith's just a siren. Don't remember for Mordecai, but Brick probably killed a ton of people. I wouldn't be surprised.

Most of the tie-ins from 1 were mostly "she's dead, he's in Sanctuary, oh you can buy stuff from him".

The DLCs are terrible. Skins, characters, and terrible short submissions. (I personally only played Torgue but heard terrible reviews of all besides Tina)

This is a problem because the Borderlands 1 DLCs are absolutely amazing. They add a fuckton of content. Their stories are interesting, even though they were blatantly noncanon. (DLC2 is the only one that seems likely)

Just my personal opinion. I enjoy ranting about terrible stuff. It's quite a character flaw!

the dlc is making me not want any of it. do you really need 20 $1 outfit dlc's. if there is a bl3 i'm going to pass on it unless they curb the dlc crap by then but i don't think they will.

I've beaten all of Borderlands 2's main game, including the Torgue DLC.

Art-style wise no, but if you saw the gameplay trailer at E3, you must've thought, hey, this is basically another Borderlands, from the guns and loot to the setting. Not saying it won't be a good game though, it looks quite decent actually.

Cristopher gives you a hug, you close your eyes, it makes you feel like a child again. When you open your eyes again, Cristophers and ponies are gone and there is a new game in your Steam library. Your life will never be the same.
