don't do it, read a book or play outside instead, i regret spending all my hours playing games instead of doing something actually useful with my life

It is you who regret, not all people regret it like you.

what? i'm trying to help you here, instead of spending hours on games you can do something useful like learn a new language or something. I try to help you and all i get are insults. Anyway, you want advice? go fuck your mother then :D my advice to you "lol". keep playing games, i'll be successful in life, and you can be successful in games. we'll see who has issues then.

Money is meant to be spent, as long as you don't compromise the money that meant for more critical needs then it's fine to spend as much as you want.

Don't think it'll ship on a Sunday anyway so you could look around

I've been looking around but there's not much difference in prices and they are kinda not "me" that's why I'm asking :P
anyway, what I mean is, I like that one and like to see if anyone has a different opinion that beats it

I bought a new TV in 2010 and what I learned from my experience is that while there are definitely cheaper options, they aren't necessarily as good in terms of quality. LG, Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, Toshiba and all the mid-to-high end manufacturers will always be higher in quality than crap like Westinghouse, Audiovox, etc. When I was doing my research at the time, LG and Panasonic were the two brands I settled on, and I got a Panasonic because I wanted plasma. But after 2 years with the tv, I kind of wish I'd gone with the LG because the set has developed some problems that Panasonic knows about but wants to ignore (sadly, it's out of warranty but fortunately the TV remains perfectly serviceable).
Your TV is actually a pretty decent one, and the price isn't bad for those features (I might have held out for 3D, but it's not essential). I personally would have gone with something in the 37"-42" range instead of 32" because that might start to feel really small to me after a while. But I only use my TV as a monitor about 30% of the time, so it's most often being used as a TV and I need something bigger for that purpose. If you're using it primarily as a monitor, it shouldn't be a big deal.
If you have the money and it's not going to hurt your ability to eat, live well or be healthy, why not go for it?

this is great input from you , thank you sir
I wanted to get 3D too but it's not available for a 32" sadly :( another thing I forgot to mention out is that I want to buy a loft bed with a desk beneath it like this one which will be good to save space in my room and gives a good space to put a disk, a chair and storage where I can also study in peace.
It's hard to live by abroad for studying :( I miss my own room and garbage :(

Wrong decision buying that "monster".
700$ = i5 and 7850 or maybe higher.
i7 and Geforce GT620 is like...crysis 3 and tetris ( if i make a comparison ).

He's got an old 480 that he's putting in it. I agree that it's still a terrible choice and definitely not a "monster," but it won't be that bad.

that's why I said "little monster" :P I know it's not going to be THAT good but whatever it is, it's going to be better than my overheating annoying laptop, don't you agree ?

exactly what ImSpartacus said, I will put my old gtx480 for now which will make up for the mess gt620 is going to do. Other than that i7 3770 +case + 16gb rams + 2tb 7200rpm hdd + mouse + a keyboard seems a pretty good deal for 700$ not to mention that it's original price is 1200$ of course a refurb would lower the price to 1000$ but isn't 300$ savings on it worth it ? because I could save those 300$ I could buy that 32 tv. I can upgrade my pc at anytime no prob but to get a complete pc for cheap in first place is something to celebrate I guess :P

don't buy the dell or HDTV because best buy sells the xps 8300 for 650 USD new and 585 USD used. Also to build a PC without a graphics card is 650 USD
a hotel i stayed at had a LG 32 inch HDTV and the picture was awful due to its poor upconversion engine. recommend buying a dell ips monitor
what brand was your previous pc, what was your previous pc's specs, and what brand is your current HDTV?
because it is probably better to buy a 46 inch or larger HDTV especially if a new pc is not neccessary or is a minor improvement over your previous pc.

First of all, I have checked bestbuy and what they sell is nothing compared to the one I bought.
Second, I used LG before and I'm really satisfied with their LED TVs. and Dell monitors are expensive compared to a 32 LG TV. just look it up.
Lastly, I don't have my old PC and monitor because I'm studying abroad in the US right now and my PC is at home, and shipping it will cost me as this new PC did cost me. I'm going home in 2 weeks and will be able to bring my GTX 480 from it for now until the 700 series is launched.

during the back to school sales in august the dell studio xps 8300 with intel core i5-3350P or i5-3450 will be 650 USD or less. However, intel's haswell lineup will be released on june 3, 2013. last week the dell ips monitors were on sale at best buy for 181 USD

if you're getting the 32 inch then i'd say go for it, since the price really doesn't seem all that bad for that tv.

that is a pretty mighty deal you grabbed yourself there, I don't really like Dell builds though, do you know what full specs are of the motherboard, ram and power supply?

it's 16 gb of ram but there is nothing mentioning the ram. I haven't received it yet but if you are interested in it, I will tell you everything about it when I receive it ;)

Hi guys,
I just bought this little monster PC and I will give it my gtx480 when I have it
and this TV
my brother is nagging me that the TV is too expensive and that there are other cheaper options. Honestly I'm in love with this tv that's why I bought it and I'm gonna hook it up with ps3,wii, xbox.... etc not only the pc
If you have any opinion about the tv please speak fast, it still hasn't shipped yet and there's a chance to cancel.
Thank you all
