I've tried increasing my wordlist for days but still no luck. Can't really brute force using my 300 p/s potato computer :(

Another question: are the passwords always single words or can they be a concatenation of words?

From the help section:
"Uppercase letters may be in password, not only in beginning. Meaning that if password consists of two words that both starts with uppercase letter and space character won't be used, second word won't be made lowercase but left as it is."

The thing is I bought a new PC two days ago and now able to use GPU :) Before that, I only could crack hashes using a laptop without a discrete video card :)

Well, all my (combined) wordlists have come up empty. And bruteforcing it if I knew what location the uppercase was at would take a week or so, without knowing it add a week for each letter until the caps is positioned in the word. At least I'm almost 100% certain it's not in the first spot based on Ozo's hint.

the thing is: i won't make passwords with random uppercase letter. all make sense -> example -> I won't make password looking like "pasSword", although "passWord" could be possible. uppercase can be not in the beginning only how I just mentioned -> if it is starting new word. But since there is a limit for password length, that second word may not be full -> "passWo" and done.

Bruteforce is not a way to go unless you have a cluster available. I created several wordlists: some "clever and optimistic ones" where I tried to understand the ozo's logic, so they are small and can be checked at CPU during a couple of minutes, With them, I was able to hack 12/17 passwords. Other wordlists were "extended" ones where I tried a lot more options but still reasonable ones. Such wordlists would be checked within several hours using a CPU and I did not really want to wait for such a long time. But now when I have GPU available I tried those extended wordlists and now solved 16/17. So, all the passwords make sense and you do not need bruteforce them. However, sometimes the logic is not that clear and you need to come up with something more complex than straightforward ideas. Well, it holds for 16/17 passwords I cracked and not for 8a_2, which I am stuck on now. Hope this little passage will inspire you for new thoughts and ideas. I wish I could help more, but ozo certainly will not like that :)

Any people solved 8a_2? All my wordlists that successfully found other 16 passwords failed at this one and I really do not know what else I can try except that word cutting thing ozo mentioned above.. But I still hope the thing is easier :)

Woot! After coming back to this topic after a week or so I though "Ah, what the heck, one new idea and then I'm out again" and that one solved the problematic hash and I just breezed through the last few... Now I'm also part of the happy "Warning: array_rand() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given" club :-D
Weird thing is, the final solution for the problematic hash should have been part of one of my previous attempts... Guess I made a mistake back then...

Oh, when you said that you weren't home when you started the update a few days ago, I assumed you were at work and would be returning home later that day. Yeah, the problem is that Jessie in this episode is abusing caffeine pills to study for the exams (if I recall correctly), and in this particular scene she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown (her next line is "I'm so... there already was possibility to donate bitcoins in older version as well. top-right on page.
i have a donate box there, if you have coinbase made as default app to use bitcoin, you should be able to process it with coinbase, otherwise just need to copy bitcoin address :)

well, 23.06 and 24.06 are national holidays in my country + it's my dad's nameday on 24.06... so, i don't think i'm gonna be near my pc or near my pc enough to do something. it's been crazy for these two days even days before. dates pass, all will be more silent, i'm gonna finish and launch it. it's just how the things are, i can't get to end at this point. few days, can't do sooner.

Hi. As I mentioned little time ago in Besiege giveaway where you needed to decrypt random .rar passwords to get into a giveaway, I am now making bit more advanced version of that for GTA V giveaway.
As this is a bit more advanced, I made it bit more automated so I don't need to check for answers or post new files / hashes.
