I was an administrator on Wikipedia for a while, and honestly, SG support seems like a much more thankless job, so props to you and all the rest.
I try to do my bit -- my last support ticket was 2 years ago. Here's to hoping I never need to open one again.

Power hungry? Don't you think you're being a tad bit dramatic? I've had nothing but positive interactions with you over my entire course of being part of this site and had you on my WL since V2 launced, and you're going to call me power hungry over one two day suspension?
You literally could have avoided the whole thing if you would have just merged all the threads together and stopped creating new ones. It could have ended with that. Literally, it would have not progressed into an issue. It would be a great common sense tactic to practice when a mod asks you to do something that would have taken less than ten seconds to do, to just go ahead and do it. It blows my mind that this even became an issue and how you're still bringing it up. Crazy!

You were wrong, period. It doesn't matter if it was a two day suspension, it could have been a 1 second one. YOU WERE WRONG. What you suspended me for was no reason to suspend anyone for. Keep on pretending you weren't and I'll keep calling you a power hungry mod, along with the other one.
"Oh, I'm sorry you were innocently arrested and spent 2 days in jail. You're being dramatic for holding that against me!"
"Oh, look, a mod asks you to jump off a cliff. It only takes 10 seconds to do it. Stop complaining, shut up and do it!"

It's almost comical, because this type of thinking is so rampant sometimes. You volunteer hours upon hours for a community that you care about, only for some members to turn around and refuse to give you 10 seconds of their time. It's funny to me.
It's one thing to to question if I could have handled your situation in a better manner, as I am human and am prone to mistakes, but it's another thing entirely to accuse me of abusing the position of power I was given. "Power Hungry" implies I'm only in it to give people I don't like suspensions or to rule over the forum in a malicious way, both of which are completely wrong and anyone that has any interaction with me at all should know that, including you. You're assaulting my character at that point, and that's the issue I'm having right now.

If you're wrong, I won't give you even 1 nanosecond of my time. This isn't a dictatorship, users aren't just supposed to do anything the mods tell them to do without questioning it.
I apologize if you take issue with that term and I probably shouldn't be using it, because I don't believe you were in it just to give suspensions to people you don't like or rule over the forum in a malicious way, but you definitely abused your power because you suspended me for something that I should not have been suspended for. You even acknowledged at first that you were wrong to suspend me for spam, but you still stood by the suspension, and changed the reason to the fact that I disobeyed a mod's orders, even though those orders were absurd. I don't know why you can't see that.
I would definitely call the other mod power hungry, though. You don't just close someone's thread and order them to join that thread with another thread just because you're a mod. If I want the threads separated they will stay separated, mods should have NO say on that, unless I created 5-10 threads, which would clearly be spam, but I had TWO threads open, each of them was about a different suggestion. How in the hell was that spam and how in the hell was it acceptable for that mod to close one of the threads and order me to join them? If that's not the definition of power hunger I don't know what is.
So I might be wrong by calling you power hungry, but you defended a power hungry mod, so that makes you complicit.

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to give everyone a quick update that I have resigned from from being a Moderator. Going through tickets is a very time consuming process and there are other things that I want/need to focus on doing in my own life. I just can't justify the time spent on it anymore. I care about you all, but it's just not worth it. :/
On that note, a huge shout-out to cg and the support team. Literally, the amount of work, time and dedication they put into making this site run is unbelievable. They deserve all the thanks in the world continuing to do so. They are amazing people and it's been a pleasure working along side them.
Hope everyone's week is great and thank you all for being such a supportive and amazing community of people! There's no other community on the internet like it. You guys are awesome.
