cg runs SteamGifts alone (at least when it comes to coding), so I highly doubt that this will be implemented.

I just gave a way a few items (more to come) and after reading a few posts here in the forums, I had an idea.
What about a limited PM system that can only be used by the person who makes the giveaway and the one person who wins that give away.
The message would be accessible for 24 hours. After 24 hours if unopened the message is removed from the winners in box.
This would allow for a couple of different things.
It would give the admins here a way to check to see if someone sent a winner something and to check to see if the winner received the item sent. This would help both sides with the fake "They didn't send/I didn't receive anything" posts that I'm sure are done here and sent to support. If the PM is opened it leaves a little check mark just like the sent and received have. If its not opened, it doesn't. It could also have the info on when it was received and when it was opened.
It would also be a way to secure keys that are sent via e-mail and know if the person who won used it or not, or at least know if they even looked at it. If its not accessed for 24 hours then any time after that the person who ran the giveaway could rescind the PM and ask for a reroll to find a new person to give the gift to. With the current way you need to e-mail the person and if they don't answer you have no way to know if they got it or not so you don't know if its been used till someone else tries to use it. Or you add people to your steam friends. Again this could be a long wait, and sometimes you just don't want to add people only to take them off again, there is also the fact that catching someone online could also take a while if you're up while they are sleeping.
Amount of PMs you could have could be limited the number of giveaways you have run. A week after its been opened and the winner checks the box of it being received the PM could be automatically deleted.
This could also help with an automated system for delivery. When a person makes a giveaway they could maybe do a check box that says gift via steam inventory or via key. If its for a keep the PM message box opens up, they write in a small little message with the key included, and then hit ok. After the giveaway is over and the person is selected, the PM is sent to the person within seconds of their name being picked and from that point they have 24 hours to open it and if they don't from that point on, the giveaway maker gets to reroll and send to another person and the original PM is removed from the original winners PM box.
Other then this, no PMs could be sent to anyone so people wouldn't need to worry about any kind of spam via PM here.
So what do you guys think? Is this something you think could or should have a future here? If it can be built that is. Not 100% on how feasible this is, with how the site is built.
I also hope I made my idea clear. Its late and my brain is a little fuzzy. :)
