Working now.
Hangs on "Play Again", so it's better to reload page instead.
Got 0.02 Galacredit and Konung 3 for 2 successful challenges.
Otherwise it's Galasilver.
Thought there will be no keys too. But now it's keys OR Galacredit and only if you win.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah - now getting "not enough galasilver" (which is not true).
But it worked just few minutes ago.
Got key at April 3, 2024, 2:07 p.m.
Comment has been collapsed.
I won, and just got more Galasilver... (like, 100+, forgot the exact amount). :/
Comment has been collapsed.
Maybe it's changed already or random.
But i really got the key today. There's no reason for me to lie about that.
Quite contrary - more chances for me to get something semi-decent or at least not dupe.
Though i doubt that too - it's really gets worse and worse.
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm not saying you are lying, just so that people know the odds aren't just credits or key. Also, just for information, I played roughly two hours before you did (or at least before your message).
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for that info.
Guess i got "lucky" and it's even worse than i thought. :/

Feudalife keys are at https://www.indiegala.com/library under the G. Giveaway tab. But did you really win a key? I only got galasilver for winning both times. (I think 125 or so.) Losing gave me 50 to 110 galasilver depending on how close I got to winning.
Comment has been collapsed.
If the only place you saw "win = key" is the OP, then it's outdated since... 2 days ago.
If the win message said you won a Steam key, then it's as PaganFears said in the message just above mine.

The game is so fucking bugged these days.
Failed a few games but got a bunch of galasilver from those fails, then won once which gave me $0.02. On my next try I spent 400 galasilver to remove all 8 seconds of malus. When the game begun, it then said I didn't have enough Galasilver to play and kicked me out. Great game, 10/10, would get scammed out of galasilver again.
Comment has been collapsed.
Did you have exactly 400 Galasilver before you spent them? Because playing costs 10 Galasilver. It also should save the reduced malus until the next time you actually get to play, as long as it's on the same day. That message also comes up when the challenge has closed, but at least to me it's still open, so that shouldn't have been the reason.
Comment has been collapsed.
Why would you spend 400 galasilver to remove malus when the most likely prize for winning is 125 galasilver? Also if you are not good at the Feudalife Challenge it's a pointless waste of time to get into it right now. All you can win is 1-2 cents of store credit sometimes on top of the galasilver. And if you are after galasilver you don't even have to be good at the challenge or win at any of it. You get plenty of galasilver even for the failed attempts.
Galasilver has little use though, there are few good giveaways on IG. It's a bit better if you are at a high level and can join high level giveaways.
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't get it, win or lose I just always get more galasilver than what playing costs, so am I supposed to just grind it by the hundreds and then... what exactly? I don't think indiegala thought this changes all the way through.
BTW, is the game crashing every time you click on "play again" for anybody else or is it just a me problem?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, grind to receive money needed for entering giveaways, so you need to work every day to receive more probability to win (extra odds giveaways) 😀.
Comment has been collapsed.
Ohh nice, just in case is the key from the old key pool or it's new pool of keys? (Like giving new kind of games or same as before)
At least I'll try to see what's the probability to receive keys or Galacredits either winning or losing from many plays.
Comment has been collapsed.
I just managed to get 2 cents in credit after winning a round, first time getting actual store credit since the rework. So even if it's a pitiful amount when compared to the "olden days" it at least proves that it still happens every blue moon :P
Now if only they could solve the bugs so the game stops crashing so much so playing this thing stops being such a pain that would be lovely.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well it was also that amount in the past, around 0.01~0.04 Galacredits or Nothing if you lose
But since new rewards are added, probably harder to trigger them now.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, not quite. In fact it was the other way around, before the changes you'd get credit for LOSING not winning, it's just that you had to barely lose. I've actually had gotten quite good at stopping right before winning so I could repeatedly lose in purpose in order to earn credit, the system was kinda broken to be honest but it was beneficial to us so I never complained.
Comment has been collapsed.
Ahh nono, I mean the lose reward is 0.01~0.04 or Nothing (Depending on your luck)
Winning was always 1 Steam key.

Got an email today, they finally made the changes "official":
The Gameplay Giveaway Challenges return, with several improvements and changes. Test your skill and beat the challenge for a chance to get rewarded Silver, Credit or Steam Keys. Even if you don't complete the challenge, you will still be awarded some complimentary Silver, which you may use in the GalaCarnage minigame or on the many new giveaways.
Comment has been collapsed.
Also saw screenshots people showing getting Galacredits and Steam Keys.
I'll check them later as well.
Currently it's on.
Comment has been collapsed.
Much harder than before, but yes.
Don't expect much, though. It's usually just a cent or two, maybe 3-4 if you're lucky, not more.
Comment has been collapsed.
With the new rules, yes, you have a slight chance of getting GalaCredits or a random Steam key when winning. It's mostly GalaSilver, though (in a larger amount than if you lose).
Comment has been collapsed.
Wow! That was one of the greatest games I have played in a LONG time.
Comment has been collapsed.
Congrats! (genuine - I would much rather have 0.01$ each time instead of dozens or hundreds of GalaSilver)
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks. Haven't done this in a while. Just tried again, beat a challenge and got silver and now it says access to my library is blocked by their security devices.
Lousy site.

"You can WIN a secret STEAM KEY if you beat the challenge, from indie games gems to sprawling AAA franchises like Dark souls, Far Cry & more!
If you do not beat the challenge, you still win $$$ GALACREDIT $$$* tospend on our Store!"
If you are not logged in it shows this^
I won gala silver. At least let me know me know if you are going to waste peoples time Indiegala.
Comment has been collapsed.
They didn't update the page.
https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/LdlzStd
And the AAA odds are extremely low. You can find them somewhere in their FAQ or something, I think. Or maybe in this thread, I forgot.
Expect either a cent or two to spend on their store, or random garbage (but that drops cards).

Playing is pointless. Its so bugged, problems with proper display, system crosshair is in different position than this game window crosshair so i cant cklick button to start playing. Fullscren helps once, because after the fullscreen round browser indiegala window crashes to half size. Then everything freezes. Ive tried it about a week ago then today, alle the time it is broken. Even game starts, the gameplay feels laggy somehow. Now this giveaway is the same broken and useless as their Indiegala client :)
Comment has been collapsed.
I either put the game window down or go fullscreen, I used to scale to 80% but now it doesn't help much.
Comment has been collapsed.
I close the tab and open again (not just a tab refresh) between each "round".
But, well. If it feels way too tedious then just don't do it, the rewards aren't as interesting as they used to be anyway.
Comment has been collapsed.
Just that worthless IG silver now. Not even a crap key. Just that worthless silver. Not worth playing anymore.
Comment has been collapsed.
It's random, rates are (very) low, but you can still get keys or credits. Only when winning though, and you have much more chances of just getting a large amount of silver.
I would guess they were bleeding money with the old system, so now they encourage people to just enter giveaways instead of farming keys and credits in this minigame.
Comment has been collapsed.
ever since they changed the rules and the game started working, i've only won silver, nothing else. i can win multiple times a day without problem, so that's definitely more than ten tries. but with such chances for a normal win, it's just a senseless waste of time, I already have more than 3000 silver that I simply have nothing to spend on.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh? I never managed to win twice a day, even when removing the malus entirely recently...
Comment has been collapsed.
I see I see. Watering tomatoes and picking saplings are the two easiest for me, but even after spending 400 silver to remove the malus entirely I didn't succeed at winning a second time yet. :/
But, yeah, the odds are so bad now. I did get a key (Kebbles) a couple days ago, and then 2 cents, so I guess I'm a lucky one, haha.

These are old videos, they were recorded before character movement speed decrease - i.e. I'm not able to cut all trees, because I don't have enough time to cut all of them. Could be it's regional issue or browser issue - most of the challenges doesn't work for me (it's impossible to complete them)
Comment has been collapsed.
From my own observations.
Yes. The speed of the tree-chopping and rock-breaking animations was changed last year, and now these competitions cannot be completed with a malus.
Cutting the grass is theoretically possible, but it takes a lot of luck and attention to find the best path through the grass without flowers (which only require one hit).
Uprooting cannot be completed with a malus, animations are too slow, not enough time for 40.
Archers are very easy to kill, 10 kills is no problem with a penalty. And only 9 is needed.
Watering tomatoes is now almost right on time, but more than possible, there is even a small window for error.
Digging the ground is possible, looks like they rolled back a bit the last changes where the digging animation was too long and not enough time to complete it. It's close now, with no margin for error, but it's quite possible.
But it's definitely not worth the time spent on it for 125 galasilver :)

No waaay this is eye-opening.
Comment has been collapsed.
Don't focus on it. If you want to win a second key, you have to practice watering, archers or hoeing. And for the 3rd win it's basically only hoeing. But with the current reward system it makes very little sense to invest time into practicing this. It was questionable even with the former system where you could win 15+ cents and 3 keys daily because it took 30 minutes of your time. (Or about 10 minutes if you only did one round for the keys and not 3 to max out the galacredits, too.)
Comment has been collapsed.
3 wins... Woah. Hoeing is one of my worst mini-games, lol.
But, yeah, he said somewhere below that watering/archers/hoeing were the best ones.
Thank you for your input! :D

Honestly, it's just a byproduct of the actual race. Mostly I won credits, and then bought something really interesting in the store. +15-20 cents a day, it's hard to save up for something new, but good old games with big discounts up to ten bucks - hello! Now I more don't like the fact that there is no logic in winning credits, there is no new games that I can win anyway.
And keep in mind that this list is many years old, and once everyone could easily win 4 keys a day, then 3, even the last year before the last changes 2 or 3 a day.
Comment has been collapsed.
15-20 cents a day? :')
But, yeah, understandable...
no logic in winning credits
This is what annoys me the most, yeah, but in a way understandable. :/ I think I'll just accept I'm not skilled enough and stop trying to win twice a day, and be content with a daily win (be it Silver, Credits, or a key).
Just curious - can you give some examples of games you bought that way?
Comment has been collapsed.
In more civilized times you had 240 Galasilver, so 24 attempts per day. so you win the first game because the timer was running 20% percent slower without the penalty, and then you get the required minimum for credits (6 trees, 11 stones, each game had such a clearly defined limit) 22 tries in a row. sometimes the game wouldn't give any credit, sometimes you'd get 2 or 4 (for almost win, like, 15 of 16 tomatoes), so either way it was 15+ cents. then you win the last game and get the second key.
What's the problem with winning a second time? focus on tomatoes and archers, it's very simple there.
With tomatoes, just water one on the left and one on the right, and so on 4 times, then stand between the other pair and do the same. more than enough time.
with archers it's even easier, kill quickly (3 hits), run closer to the center so that when the next one appears you are at the optimal distance from him, kill and turn back. do not forget that the sword has a large impact area, it is not necessary to get close.
Digging is just click-step-click-step, catch the beat and move around the field.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh, I see. Interesting.
For tomatoes, that's what I do without penalty, I win without any problem. But when doing the exact same thing with a penalty, I never managed to win. :')
For archers, eh, I guess it's just a skill issue on my side. Thanks for the area tip, though. I'll keep an eye on that.
For digging... I guess I need to go faster. Also RNG...
Thank you for your reply!

Oh, wow. That's a really impressive lineup. I only got Type:Rider and Vandals, haha. Really happy about the first one, it's a game I played ages ago somewhere and I was very happy to not only find it again, but acquire it and 100% it. :D

Yes i like the game too but i'm pretty sure i won it in a feuda challenges a long time ago instead of buying it somewhere.
I would advise you to try somehow (if there was no such opportunity) Typoman. Not the same, but they sure have a lot in common.
