Will you spend 10tons of money on this?
Is this promo for Tesla vs Lovecraft or Undead Horde ? ;P

Too bad they filled half of the bundle with trash.

Not bad, but i see it very expensive for that price.

Didn't know Spellspire but it looks similar to Letter Quest which I enjoyed, wonder how it compares. There are a few more ones I'm interested in but probably not interested enough to buy.

Managed to get it along with 2 other games in a bundle split, so 3/5 games I wanted for $1.26 that's not bad, and the others will probably be bundled again

10tons is awesome, too bad I already have all the games I'd be interested.

$5? Someone tell the staff at Fanatical there's a huge difference between the games in this bundle and the Killer Bundle XI.

Time recoin and JYDGE looks awesome and I already have Neon Chrome - would get the bundle for 2-3$ maybe, but not really 5β¬ for two games. Just started playing Cally's Caves 3 (to prepare for my SG in C.C. 4) and judging from it's length, I'll be fine waiting until those two get rebundled ^^

Jydge and a bunch of other stuff you don't want Bundle

Crimsonland is their legacy Twin-stick shooter, NeonChrome their roguelite take on the genre, and Time Recoil their narration-guided take on the genre, and they're all good too. Xenoraid is also a awesome game, really unique.

real good bundle with too high price, so i have to skip

If anyone knows one of the twin-stick shooters and would like a small comparison between them, here goes an old post of mine about them:
-
Tesla vs Lovecraft (not in the bundle) feels very close to a "Crimsonland 2" in terms of gameplay. Closed fixed maps, where the game is basically a survival with waves and all. The most unique thing about is the teleport ability, which can get you in and out of combat, as well as out of tight spots, it's awesome. The mecha thing is a novelty feature, but sometimes can save you as well and be decisive.
TL;DR: feels like an arcadey game for high score against countless waves.
-
Time Recoil felt like a story game. The narration isn't very well delivered as it could, and the "going back and forth" gets a little annoying after a while to catch up, but the bullet-time-on-kill feature gives a whole new breath to the game, and it certainly allows some very unique moments in gameplay, it feels very cinematographic, and all the tactics you have on stages must be built around it, like chain kills, casting a skill, getting another chain, and so on.
TL;DR: feels like an action movie, with some background story, an unknown hero that discovers itself during his journey, and lots of bullet time!
-
JYDGE is one that really surprised me. The maps are small and fixed, but it still managed to deliver a lot of replayability, to beat time or to get other medals. It's a game that makes you want to elaborate a strategy before starting the mission, try to make it work during it, and sometimes adapt out of it as it wouldn't work. Feels very arcadey in that way, but much more tactical. I wouldn't call it roguelite, it's a "stage after stage" play, with nothing really carried between them, doesn't feel like you're doing a "run" as in roguelites, and of course, there's not enough randomization I guess, as maps are fixed.
TL;DR: feels like those classic stage-based SNES games, but giving you secondary goals to increase replayability and spice things up
-
Neon Chrome was fantastic as well, I guess it's still my favourite among them though. It was a perfect mix between roguelite and twin-stick shooter, which are two genres I really enjoy, and very challenging to survive until you master it. RNG doesn't impact it as much as other roguelites, but you can be somewhat carried by the permanent progression like in Rogue Legacy to at least finish it once.
TL;DR: feels like a true roguelite! Long runs, or shorter ones when you die, of course!
-
So, they're not clones of each other. Sure, many things are similar, but the gameplay of each of them feels unique and differs much on the whole experience.
