What the reason you HATE Origin?

One does not need a reason to hate something on internet.

EA a corrupted company gaining profit from it,Not adding games in Steam,expensive euro value,EAs face

EA is evil.

And Origin is often crashing.

Ohh and Games terminate themselves when Origin crashes or at random.

And no real settings for games except the ones ingame.

And no community hub to get a solution for problems.

And did I mention EA is evil?

I prefer Steam,but I liked that they gifted Dead Space, it's a great game.

I don't.
I don't use Origin as much as Steam but I have a lot of games there, all EA games.
But I can tell you that I never had any problems with Origin, unlike Steam or UPlay.
I get high download speed (around 9 MB/s when I barely reach 3MB on Steam an 70% of the cases I never go over 1MB), and I never experienced any crash or server downtime since it came out.

On the other hand, Origin is way way too minimalistic and inconsistent (not as much as UPlay but still).
Also, there is EA. Not that I hate EA but I'm not their fan either.

I don't buy the "EA is evil, Valve is cool" or "Steam and Gabe are awesome" crap. Valve has a lot of issues and Steam..oh my. Not to mention Gabe and...

But in the end I wanna play games. Even if I like my games in one place, I go where the game is, not game where the "X" platform is.

as much as I hate EA, the only reason I hate Origin is because it is too much change compared to Steam. I hate its layout, by a lot. I hate the colors, a lot. The way it works is too different and sometimes impractical, like the lack of a gifting system. Did I mention how much I hate the colors? I feel like I am looking at a car dealership's ad or something... It does the job just fine, but Steam does it better. Steam has a lot of problems too though, don't get me wrong... but it still manages to be better. I am used to it, all the games I want to play are already on it while Origin just has EA games and other games I could get on sale on Steam. The EA games are kinda shit now a days, so eh. :p

I hate EA and I refuse to buy any of their games or use Origin. I've been boycotting them for a few years now and I do not regret it.

Now why would I hate Origin?

I don't even know where to start...

The main reason for me: once i preordered Battlefield 3 Premium (preordered copy had some DLC not remember which is) when origin only started to work. At release day i got my key but could not even log in into client but i registered week before release and could log in via browser. Im searched in dozens of forums but no help. Then i decided to write into its support. But they hide support link at that moment so good that i cannot find it about another one week. After i found it finally and described it to the operator - "wait for client update, origin in beta period still" was the answer or purpose to change OS, reboot etc. I tried different machines, different client builds even bought new graphical adapter but no use. Finally i gave up and lost about 6 month until i could log in into that stupid client (after several client updates). So since i hate origin so much and not buying their games. I just cant understand how so large company (EA) could release so bad product, deprivate it with any adequate support but sell their games with so high prices..

Basically many of us just hate EA for diferent matters, killing Shepard, ruin C&C saga, made Dragon Age 2 (really u think this is a RPG?), ruin Dead Space (Dead Space 3 seems to be a cheapest Gear of War), that is why i never support EA or any distro system they used.
I have BF Bad Company 2 in my old EA account, and when it become Origin, i never manage to redeem it on is horrible useless Origin.

I don't hate origin.. i just like steam more (actually I like desura the most, but steam has the most games and best deals).
I like to have all my games in one place too... I hope Origin disappears eventually just like GFWL :\

Its the lack of social features as compared to Steam.

7 month trying to install The Sims 3 without result... and any help from customer service...Steam is not perfect but works...

well i tried to play dead space 3 co op but origin didn't let me and it took like 3 weeks for them to fix it so yeah screw origin.

EA and their politics

It is not steam,it makes bad ports,and doesn't publish games on steam.

Because it's shitty and so is EA.

Because every time you open it it gives you a "Todays Faeature" that is just shit and the same every day and opens befoere Origin itself. And due to Origins interface sucking balls it is also not working like the Steam News work.
