Welcome to adulthood. Once you're out of your teens, most folks don't care about anyone else's birthday. Beyond your family and significant other, don't expect much.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing. After all, we are all individually the star of our own "show," and family/friends are simply recurring characters or occasional guest stars.
Don't forget your mom's birthday, tho.
