Did you ever get a duplicate key from support?

I had a giveaway that ended recently and as I usually do with IndieGala links, I emailed it to the winner to not reveal the code myself. But it ended up being a duplicate.
Fair enough, these things happen, it's just the first time happening to me. So I contacted their support and received a new key the same day. However, the winner claims this is also a duplicate.
Now I don't want to start judging, but aren't they supposed to get their keys directly from the developers? What is the likelihood of this happening or has it happened to you before?

Edit: It seems other people are having issues with the Shakedown Racing One keys from Friday Special 30 bundle.
Another key turned out to be duplicate.

I have it only happen to me with IG keys for Days of Custody and Axyos but I think it was because of dev troubles.

Lucky I had some DIG keys of those games so I could easily change them.

yes i did.. it was Shakedown Racing One from Friday Bundle 30 and the support send me a new key and it was also a duplicate.. this happened just the other day :/

And since i see this Game on your GA page i think its the same for you :/

This is probably the case here since one of their giveaways is for that game.

I know of at least one other user who had trouble with a giveaway of this game so it's possible the devs or IG fucked up somewhere

I just sent them an email to let them know that other people are having problems with the Shakedown Racing One keys from this bundle. I hope more people email them about the issue so I'm adding it to the op.

yes happened to me with star sky...took 4 emails back and forth to get 4 keys working and I wasn´t trusting the rest

this wasnt IG though...never had problems with them

It's unlikely, but not outside the realm of possibilities. If they messed up once, they can always mess up a second time ;)

To be completely honest I believe that neither of the keys are duplicates. My cynicism tells me that those people only try to get multiple keys and having that happen twice is ridiculous, but also highly suspicious. Just sayin'.

I think I only had to ask IG support for a new key once and the one they sent me worked fine.
