This looks like an interesting thing, thanks for the tip.
Here is an instruction I found useful (may be would be good for some newcomers like myself).
EDIT:
ATTENTION EVERYONE:
I just did it, here are the easily repeatable steps to make sure you don't **** up and actually get billed.
You're done!

Actually you do need to have money in the account otherwise it will decline when creating the account. They do a 1 dollar check, but they refund it swiftly. Its a common practice.

I think there's gonna be a policy stating that these keys will now be considered as exploited keys
Comment has been collapsed.
It's just my guess
But if you can only redeem 1 key per account, then exploiters are gonna create shit loads of account, and use them for profit, giveaway, whatsoever.

-_-
Read what I said again... "1 key per game per credit card/paypal account".
If you create a second account then use the same credit card, it will come up as fraudulent and won't process. Paypal accounts are also tied to IGN accounts so the same thing applies.

how do you redeem these keys? it takes me to file planet?

No you just have to sign in and at your "Prime" page and select the game you want to redeem. Afterwards you will be taken to the advertising page of the giveaway where by pressing "Redeem" you will get your code.
By the way there is also a Bastion OST giveaway there now at the bottom of the page.

I wish I had done this during the SkyDrift Promo but I heard that went pretty fast.

they got removed once ign found the error. so it wouldn't have made a difference if you did.

Funny, seems it keeps bugging me to "Get Free Trial" when I try to redeem the code, although I have successfully signed up to prime and got the credit card accepted.

thats because fileplanet doesn't share the same cache as IGN.com All you have to do is click the little button that says log in to your prime account when redeeming the code and it'll take you to the next page.

Ah yes, worked, thanks man!
One additional question though, will they revoke my Steam activated game after I cancel my trial or doesn´t that matter?
Comment has been collapsed.
no they don't care. and you're not canceling your trial, you're canceling the renewal which would come after the 7day trial period.
Comment has been collapsed.
yup, its a hold. You won't see it on most statements, it'll just say $0.00

Just to clarify, so i make a acc with paypal but my 14$ isnt deducted? And i only renew it with free trial every 7 days?
Comment has been collapsed.
if you disable autorenew in the ignprime account settings, then yes, you won't be charged 14,99 after the 7 day trial period.

nice now i finally got Hamilton's Great Adventure

I wish i had some way to make a paypal account without having a card.

I'm sorry to hear that. I just tried it the second time and everything seems to work well... =/
Somone just posted here though that they would charge you "5 days prior to your renewal" which leaves you only 2 days to cancel after registering. This is something to take into account.

My two giveaways of the games for people without PayPal/CreditCart are up if someone is interested.
Edit: They are on the front page and open for another 2 or 3 hours ;)

Yes. Go to https://login.ign.com/index.aspx then Stored Account Management.

What USER/Pass do you use for "https://login.ign.com/Subscribe/Manage/MySubscription.aspx" The one I use to log in at the main site doesn't work, and when I click 'forgot passowrd?' the form doesn't work and no email comes.

Yeah, It's registered. Using my registration information and I keep on getting "You cannot login using the current credentials. Please try again."

If your email has periods in it, try logging in via the Prime registration page.

I also have the very same problem. It will not let me log in, and I have tried from the registration page; it also said my information was incorrect, even though I KNOW it is most definitely the correct information. I just want to cancel the auto-renew before the 1st; I only registered for some PDFs of Strategy guides since I have a crappy computer. I've submitted a support ticket about it, but we all know how most places are with customer support...

Has anyone been a member for a longer period, how often do these "deals" change?
