So, everyone in every video on Youtube seems to love this game and even the critics like it. I'm not a big fan of puzzle games, do you think it's still worth it? Is it really that great? I might buy it, but 7€ is a bit too much to just buy it and try it.

I love it. I played it through in one sitting, it isn't too long, but it is well worth the $7.49 that it is on sale for.

It's one of my favorite games this year. I loved every bit of it. It's not very long though, I played it in one go and finished it in about 6 hours.

It's a good game, awesome story and it will give you some serious emotional feelings. Also being able to control 2 characters at the same time is a really cool idea. Worth it imo even if it's pretty short (3-4 hours)

It's an enjoyable game, for sure. Definitely worth a playthrough. However, it's also (in my opinion, of course) massively overrated and overhyped.

I admit, my expectations were quite high when starting the game (it's not every day the Cynical Brit himself throws so much praise on a title), and it failed to deliver the thing that was supposedly it's biggest asset - the story.

Don't get me wrong, I love emotionally engaging stories in my games. However, Brothers did not impress me on that point. I can't really say much about the story without spoiling anything - I thought it was kind of cliche'd, and I found the ending rather predictable, which robbed me of much of the emotional effect. I couldn't really connect to or start caring about the characters, either, perhaps due to the lack of comprehensible dialogue.

That's not to say there's just downsides to the game, though. The views, landscapes and general atmosphere of the game are wonderful, as are the sound assets. The puzzles aren't really challenging, but they're solid and enjoyable enough. The controls work really well, though sometimes it's annoying when you have to hold one of the sticks or triggers for a long time, and accidentally letting it go leads to redoing a whole section - but that's not really a big problem.

All in all, it's a very good game. Just don't set your expectations too high, and you'll enjoy it a lot more :p
