Which Resident Evil title would you like to see on Steam either remade or remastered?
Japanese people and their troll plants... This is awesome, some people dislike remakes and remasters, but I like them, not all of them like Metro Redux (meh) and Dark Souls 2 (that should have been a free patch instead of 2 fucking new games). I like remasters of old games, because an awesome old game+ new graphics and sound= super awesome old game.
I want them all remastered, I will buy them, I can't vote just for one.

I'm not a big fan of remakes and remasters either, since most of the time they are just cash grabs.
But REmake was great since it was available to smaller audience due to Gamecube exclusivity before that, plus not many people use emulators.
So I'm glad to see these games finally getting the attention they deserve!
Would love to see RE2 and the Outbreak Files the most with online functonality!

Now we need the first three Sillent Hill games getting this treatment, oh wait, no...Konami now wants to get into iPhone shit and stuff....

Don't worry, they will launch Sillent Hills in the iPhone 31-S somewhere about 2040.

That sucks that you feel that way about them. RE always had shitty interface and awkward controls, even on consoles. Personally I loved RE 4, 5 and 6 on PC. 2 and 3 too of course but back when I was a kid cause now with the "turn around to walk in that direction" controls it's unplayable lol. Haven't played the rest but I plan to cause I love the series.

Care to elaborate?
I have all Resident Evil games available for PC, that includes the horrible Operation Raccoon Shitty on GFWL and the original 2007 release for Resident Evil 4 and the only bad ports I can think of are the 2007 Re4, and Revelations 2, which was fixed by Capcom later.
Controls? New RE plays like any TPS title these days, while for the REmaster they applied a modern control scheme.
Camera angles? Well that's a toss of coin I admit. Old school fans love it while it might be strange for newcomers.

And it's confirmed on PC! RE ZERO ON FUCKING PC! It's golden age for us PC gamers :)

Now If only a PC version of Last of Us was announced then I would be real excited ;)

I'm really happy that so many people bought the HD REmake, as it obviously sent the right message to Capcom. Although, I was hoping they'd now finally figure out that people want NEW Resident Evil games that are actual survival horror games instead of shitty karate explosion fests with tits and asses, but... oh well, at least they're giving us back the good ones.

That's good to hear. I liked the first Revelations because it was definitely a step in the right direction, so I was really looking forward to Revelations 2. I haven't played it yet because I heard (or read) that it's more like RE 6 than Revelations and I just didn't want to be disappointed again.

It's nothing like Re6.
Storywise it expands the lore and connects several numbered Resi titles together. With a bad pun you could say there's actually a revelation in this game unlike in Rev1, which was pretty much a filler.
Gameplay wise it's also closer to the older games, since enemies won't spawn in hordes (though there are a couple "swarm events" like in most modern Resis) but instead there are fewer of them and their damage is boosted. Resources are limited also since creeps won't be pinatas this time dropping all sorts of goodies.

Oh yes yes yes, SWEET YES!!!!
I have an unhealthy obsessionlove for Resident Evil. If you only knew...
I will buy this and every other Resident Evil they make. As far as which one to REmake next? I'd like to see them in order. Now that 0 is in the works and the original has been redone (twice) it's time to do at least 2 and 3.

The poll is missing one answer: All of them!
I always watched my cousin play Resident Evil 1 when I was a brat and although I have seen most classics this way I feel the urge to play them myself. Emulators and such are the best way to go, but annoying and partly illegal. I especially want to play 1 to 3.
I played the first one on an emulator but the emulator broke when I was close to the end of the game, killing my savefile with it.
And from what I have seen I actually would want to play the original ones more than a remake, but I'm not picky. :P

It's great to see Remakes that also come on PC, even though I'm not really a fan of Resident Evil.

May the mighty Green Herb help this project!
Well I might be only one to be excited as hell, but Capcom just confirmed the release of Resident Evil ZERO HD Remaster, scheduled for early 2016.
With the massive commercial success of Resident Evil HD Remastered, the announcement was kind of expected, and hopefully we will see further re-releases of formerly console exclusive titles!
Are you excited by the announcement? Which Resident Evil title would you like to see?
