Recently most of the complaining is coming from one single guy, it's kinda tiring.

That talks about achievements, that has 4k games, 4 completed with 4 max achiev each, and the most played has 18h. Quite interesting stats.
They've added some stuff to the store too. You can even refund now. Hope they make the library layout better so you don't install the game when clicking and it goes to a store or opens an overview.

Epic's store and client took too long to get become decent, and they still have things to sort out, but it's free. So while I'm not quite convinced enough to buy anything in their store just yet I'm gladly taking the freebies.
That guy on the other hand doesn't seem interested in constructive criticism, he's just bitter for some reason.

Epic has had like 200+ free games already. Once every like 6 weeks something quality comes around. Evil Dead is that game for me.
The app needs work. Lots of work. At this time I'm not judging them since I keep getting free games.

You hate Sweeney and the EGS, but you claim the games, you play the games, and you support the EGS. So your actions contradict your words that you post every single day here on this thread. Are you okay? Do you need someone to talk to?
There is a way to delete you EGS account. You head over to "Account" and then at the bottom there's a big red button you press to delete it. Once you press it in 14 days it will be gone.

look, at the end of the day, you can hate EGS all you want. many people do. i use it for free games, but prefer steam for everything. that being said, just stop. hate it all you want, but no one wants to hear you complain about whatever thing. you dont like EGS. thats fine. go hate it elsewhere and let the people here enjoy something. your weekly post about hating EGS isnt gonna bankrupt epic or save steam from whatever shit. so please, just go away.

That's not what I meant to say, Epic has gotten better, even if they still have a long way to go to catch up with Steam. I really do think that your constant bickering is getting tiring, you've already made your point and we're aware of your opinion on the matter, so do you have to keep repeating it every single week?
If you don't like something that's fine, but being annoyed because other people like (or at least are fine with) the thing that you dislike is pointless, and then forcing your opinions unto everyone else gets pretty annoying after a while. I really don't get why you keep behaving like this, we're all adults here.
Is not that I want you banned like other users have been asking for, I'm just politely asking for you to let people discuss other subjects in this thread without you derailing the conversation for no good reason, just be reasonable please.

if you are going to complete it 100% I suggest you keep and play the steam version. the epic version i am sure will not have the achievements. and then the steam version is steam deck verified unlike the epic one

I just checked and the Evil Dead from Alienware gave me all the DLC content. Usually the Epic freebies are just the base game, so probably still ahead in this case.

I thought it was only for the base game. That's great they included the DLC.
I'd be really surprised if the EGS freebie included all of the DLC. Maybe one or two things with be free, but definitely can't see all of it.

it's a multiplayer only game and there is no singleplayer story in this game so I'm glad it's free. I probably would never have bought. if had some proper singleplayer probably would have sold a lot more or generated more interest. it hasn't been that long since this game came out. they probably didn't sell anything and decided to give it away

I don't know if a user can be "muted" as punishment, as far as I know suspensions are the moderators' only tool.

- Currently, you can only preload on EGS. The release is on Thursday, probably to be announced at "The Game Awards".
- There is cross-play between Steam and Epic, so I imagine you should be able to synchronize progress on both stores.
Let us wait for the full procedure. The free DLC is available till January 5 anyway.
