Gamefly purchases region restricted?

Hey guys, I just noticed that Sleeping Dogs is on sale again on the u.s. version of gamefly, now it does state that it's only available for purchase in a number of countries (mostly in the Americas) but it doesn't state anything as far as I've seen that confirms that you can only activate them in those countries.
So does anyone know if those gamefly keys do activate in Europe?

If it says that its only available for purchase in certain countries, i would say you are better off not buying it just in case

That's my initial thought, but the thing is that every item they have for sale has the same restriction, which leads me to assume that it's more a regional pricing thing than region restriction.
