Reveal all Holiday Giveaways after event is over?

After the Holiday Giveway event's over, wouldn't it be nice if we could go back and look at all the gift boxes and see what was inside them? I know I'm not the only one who wondered what was inside that box that I thought about opening but passed on. Maybe you could leave the holiday section up till the new year for anybody who wants to comb through the gifts.

This would be nice but I think the event just vanishes when it ends, like it never existed. So not only can the boxes not be seen into, that whole interface is gone I think.
