I don't think it common enough to add another button just for.
That and I think it's a moot point because if they do not remove it, the gifter is obligated per the rules to deliver within 1 week or have a "Not Received". As in, there is already a system in place. If admins do remove then I would still think a normal support ticket would be enough.
Perhaps it would be better just to give the creators an option to cancel listing within the first 30 mins or so (A link only the creator would see). This can easily be done with cookies for instance.

This would be handy. There's a bug in the code that randomly spawns a second giveaway, even with just one click of the mouse. I've had it happen to me, there's a Dead Island giveaway up now that looks like it happened to them. Being able to delete (and refund any entries) automatically by the creator in the first 30 minutes could save a lot of time for everyone.

The 30 minute thing sounds like a really good idea. The only problem would be the uncreative trolls that will create a highly wanted giveaway just to take it back after 29 minutes. But then again all the points would be returned so no harm done really. This way some people would be saved from actually winning the damn thing only to find out that it was all fake/bugged.

I know it could be abused, but maybe even automate it? I have no idea how this site works since I have almost no coding experience, but just making it automated (Like, if 200 people report, or if it's gotten two thirds as many reports as entrants or something...)
Another idea would be to let the creator delete the give away if it's only been open fifteen minutes or something. Certainly wouldn't eliminate these giveaways, but it might put a dent in it.

Just to add onto your idea about deleting giveaways: Leave it open for another 15 minutes or so to let people remove their entries but locking it from any further possible entries. Along with that maybe some sort of notification, for example, the same notification you get for winning but it being red with different text obviously.

Maybe a option to take down a giveaway if you are the creator?

What if you could only delete it within the first, like, fifteen minutes or half hour or so since all giveaways must be open for at least an hour? It might help a bit, but I haven't really given it much thought, so I'm curious if anyone else can spot a glaring way to abuse this.

They should have it show if more than 200 people report it the giveaway displays a warning since we are not supposed to call out giveaways , their should be some kind of warning to entrants, I always skim the top few comments to see if anyone makes a claim of it being fake then I check it out if its more than 25 points

Looks awfully suspicious, definitely worth reporting their account so CG can review it.

Thanks, that entire group of users is banned for life.

Well, I never see those giveaways being closed early, I think one of the MW2 fakes is still up.

I'm constantly seeing highly wanted games like MW3 or Max Payne 3 being created as giveaways, and the author's details state that they gave it away by accident, and that they don't have the game. Could we have a report option for this specific situation to shut it down faster?
