my thoughts: at least this is off-topic.
other thoughts: giving away a game where you only get 8/10 entries with over 100,000 people.. and people who win then enter for the game enter again.
people are supposed to not mark it as received if they win it twice and ask to re-roll anyway. it's not like the person who blindly enters is any less at fault for it, but the way you responded to the guy.. could be better. though pretty funny they are asking to request a new winner... because there were only two. people really don't pay attention, I guess. maybe make your giveaways last longer or lower levels instead from now on depending on the game.

That user should not have entered the second giveaway in the first place. If you read the guidelines for the site the very first entry on entering states "Only enter to win games you do not already own, and do not enter to win DLC if you're missing the required base game."
Secondly I agree that he should not have marked it not received but rather contacted you and asked for a re-roll or rather a deletion as you said. Sounds like its someone who doesn't really understand the ethos of the steamgifts community in any case.

It takes up to a week for the site to resync. Now, the user shouldn't have entered anyway, but some use bots that won't pay attention.

True, and that's why I don't use bots and I force a sync after claiming a win so I can't enter again by mistake. I also check any entered giveaways and remove entry from any duplicates (after claiming of course). It takes effort but I believe it is truer to the spirit of steamgifts than just trying win games.
To play devils advocate, even if the user was using a bot he claimed the first win and should have updated his account info (sync) when doing so. It takes seconds so it's not difficult.
My second point still stands the gift not received shouldn't have been used.

Some people won't touch the Sync button during free weekends because then they can't enter for those titles.

I made a giveaway with ten copies and only 8 people entered. I then used the two extra keys and made another giveaway. The problem was a user entered that had won from the ten copies before and there were only two entries on the next two . So, I had to put in a ticket to get it deleted. It takes a long time for this to happen support informed me. I checked today and the user has marked the second win as not received. I know support will take care of it. I just want to know people's thoughts on the marking as not received (thousands of games given on many sites zero negatives)
