I think there is a rule that says if the winner doesn't claim the prize after some time, then he will lose it.
The submitter and winner(s) of the giveaway have seven (7) days to complete the gifting process. This includes the activation of the gift on the Steam account of the winner.
If 7 days have passed with no answer from him, he is to blame.

I have a copy in my folder sent. I hope this is enough.

If you sent it via email, see if you can add the person and ask them to check their email spam box - could have got sent there if it was a key (the Mad Riders and Homefront keys that I won both got spam boxed ;/).
Otherwise, did you re-roll before giving the key to the new winner, or did you just decide who? And check the 2 peoples steam game list - make sure they haven't got the game the key was for.

Yeah, but there was no additional effort, so it might just as well have ended up in a spam folder and the receiver didn't know any better than not having received it.
But it's faulty on both ends, since both the giver and winner did no effort to ccntact one another and sort things out.

I tried to contact this person, if you didn´t read it, he didn´t gave me an answer. 8 Days later, i gave the key away, because i didn´t know, if the key still works, so i gave the key to an other guy to test it. Sure, now the key is in use by this guy, but what should i do? Support didn´t answered. Should i even forget the key, because i don´t know what happend with the key? You are a crazy stupid guy.

I just got something like this this morning, I won a gift and the guys send the gifts but it went in my spam box, the guys asked me if I received the gift and I said no, then I did a full search in my email box and I found that the gifts was in the spam folder, if the gifters wouldn't contact me I wouldn't look in my spam folder and I would have send a "not received" feedback after a week.
when someone win one of my giveaway, I make sure that I contact the winners, congratulate him/her and asked him/her if he can reply to my email to approve that he is able to get my email. After 2 days if I'm still waiting for a response then I add him/her to my steam friends list, and at then end if the winners contacted me approving that he received my email and reply then I will send him the gifts, not before.

if after 7 days you had no contact, you should have asked for a re-roll

I can´t do a re-roll, because i had sent the key to this person. I didn´t know if the key is in use by this guy.

Ouch ..I know your looking for answers by the forums, but stick to asking support if you think things went wrong. I would of re-rolled the game came up with the money in a week, and fixed that negative. Support will help you, but be patient! To each their own, and best of luck. ♥

Just a note, support will not reroll keys as there's no way of telling if the first winner activated it or not.
Contact support anyway, provide them with proof that you did send the winner the key and they should mark the gift as received for you. I would probably drop the key in chat or give it to a friend to make sure it doesn't go to waste but others might argue that you should give the original winner all the time in the world to activate it.

In the other hand I won 6 days ago a Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, the guy who made the giveaway did the wole pack (Splice, Eufloria and Crayon Physics Deluxe) and gave the other games to their respective winners in a few hours but not the one I won. Still waiting.
And I was eager to do my first giveaway after win a non-Dota2-game...

Hello, i make a giveaway of the game Majesty 2. After the giveaway was closed i had sent the gift to the winner ( http://www.steamgifts.com/user/Foxy11PL ) . This guy didn´t answered me and gave me no feedback. Over a week later i got still no answer. I think this guy is a fake. Now i gave the key to an other user that had won an other giveaway from me. I didn´t know if the key still works. Only by this way i could know this. The last days i tried to contact the support, but he didn´t answered and today i get a "Gift not Recieved" in my history. This is a bad picture of me but it wasn´t my fault. What can i do?
