No, I don't think it is like Chu-chu Rocket. Though I haven't played either, just watched gameplay videos (that's why it took some time to reply). It looks like a combination of Snake and Pac-Man with a 5 minute time-limit. And there also is a puzzle mode and I believe a multiplayer.
