IdleMaster is no longer supported, but still runs fine (and can idle multiple games at a time), but I recommend looking into Archi Steam Farm. It doesn't run multiple games at the same time, but my tests show that the idling multiple games at the same time doesn't bring any benefit anyway (in terms of cards/day).
upd. I stand corrected, refer to their FAQ section to see about multiple games

"although ASF knows better when to use that feature"
So it picks games on its own? I wanted to clock more hours in some games of my choice. Reading quickly through the FAQ, it doesn't seem to be able to do this.
Edit: someone else below answered my question. Thanks for the help nevertheless. I'll go with Archi.

You can command Bots to play specific game
!Play AppIDNumber for single bot individually. or maybe it is !Play Botname AppIDNumber
!Play ASF AppIDNumber for all bots.

Thanks, mate. Would you be so kind and see my reply to Ryzhehvost? They seem to be offline, so I don't think they'll answer soon. I managed to get it all up and running, yet I get no hours on any of the games I am "playing".
Console says "<Bot> Done!" after each !play command, so it's working somehow.

It will show after you exit ASF. When you scroll down profile page below to recent games played time will show. And I think it will register every 10 minutes when running see it on profile page. ASF shows how much farming time left per account on console window.

But you can run just 1 account. To run more accounts you need set up virtual PC and run individual Exes. Manually login in alts except Main. Running more than 5 or 10 depending on RAM size can slow PC. ASF optimzies much better runs all in sincle CMD type window.

ASF (Archi Steam Farm) is the best option in my opinion. I've been using it for years on 3 accounts and I've never had any problem.
It can idle multiple games until 2h and then it starts farming them one by one (btw, I think you can also configure it to idle games one by one from the beginning).
You can also use many commands to interact with your accounts directly from the ASF terminal, such as checking if you own a game, activate keys, add free licenses, send all your items from your alts to your main account, etc...

Can I configure it to idle which games I'd like and for a certain amount of time?

Yes, you can "play" the game you want, and you can stop it when you want
!play <account name you choose> <game id>
And when you want to stop idling, just !pause <account name you choose> , maybe there is even a !stop command, but I don't remember as I never used it, when I want to stop I just close the window xD
EDIT: If you want to set up an automatic timer, I'm not sure if it's possible
EDIT 2: just checked, there is a !stop command that logs out from the account, to just stop the farming you have to use pause

Nah, no need for a timer. I can just look at the clock and turn it off. Much obliged. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Not much difference. Both farm multiple games common first 2 hours then indiviodual games start. I think thats because card drops were restricted till 2 hours for refund window.

one that can run multiple games at once
It makes no sense. Steam limit card drops so that if you'll start two games it will take longer to get all cards from both than starting them one-by-one.

Doesn't matter. All I want it to do is idle game time on games of my choosing at the same time. Cards are just a bonus.
Using Archi so far and the play command works according to the IPC command console, but refreshing on my profile and in my library shows no new time being added other than the time I took between writing the play commands. Uptime is of over an hour now.
P.S.: I've found out that you can type !play <botname> <appid>,<appid>,<appid>,<appid> etc, but I am not sure if it works the same as typing the command again, but with a different Id.

If you use !play multiple times only last one will work. if you use !play <botname> <appid>,<appid>,<appid>,<appid> it will play all specified appids simultaneously (up to 32, steam limitation).

THANK YOU. Bless you, man. Closing the topic, since I hope this is the last bit of info I needed.

If your account has restricted card drops it usually doesnt drop cards until about after two hours idling. If you run several games at once, like you can with ASF, then after 2 hours it will continue to idle one at a time after that time.

ASF. Thought setting up is time consuming and can be complicated for noobs. Once set its just run exe and sit back.

Looking for a safe one that can run multiple games at once. I checked online, but most articles or discussions recommending one program over another are years old, so I don't know which one's still viable.
EDIT: TO CLARIFY, I am also looking for boost playtime on multiple games at once.
For example, the top profile on Steam Ladder for most playtime has spent a total of almost 200 years (1 615 164 hours =
184.257187 years exactly). How did they do it? My guess was through some idling program.
