• For the most only creates "invite only / private GAs" and yet still partakes in public GAs (i.e they can win from all but no one (from public) can win from them.)
Those kind of users are insta-blacklisted by me. Those are the worst kind of hoarders, specially if they are high-level users (6+ or more). They usually have 500+ games on their library, they only create exclusive private group giveaways (5-15 entries) but because they have a good level they enter every single public or forum invite-only GAs with high level required, so they win a game or more almost every day. I've seen one of them who wins at least 3 games every day. More than a half of his library (1200+ games) has been won here. His negative ratio is 4:1 (more than 700 wins in a year). All of his giveaways are for private ratio groups, but he has won tons of games from public and forum invite-only GAs.

Hmm could I be whitelisted? Although all I've given out are spares of bundle games I've got... But I kinda fulfil the criteria yea?

But but what if you aren't a leech but feel like a leech? Also what about those people who mainly enter those huge 50 and 100 copy giveaways that are public but mostly only link giveaways in the forum? I at least know by doing invite only links in the forums that the games are hitting the most active users who participate in the site.

I just don't understand the logic behind "invite only trains".
The way you described it make it sound like those who participates in the forum is worth more than those who doesn't.?
I say very little here and yet I have given away close to 300 games over the past 5 months where does that leave me as a "value" to the site?
I have been entering more "trains" and what not in the forums than back when I was completely new to the site but I still wish it could be more open to all...

the way I see it contribution to the site comes in more than one way. If one simply wants to come and give away games that's fine. You get a contributor level for your giveaways and that allows you to access higher level giveaways. If someone uses the forum a good bit then they find plenty of invite only giveaways meant for those who either lurk there or participate in them. They are both different ways to rewards users who contribute to the site. Since I mainly use the forum except for those games I try to win like terablasters, overture, and other games with over 50 keys I contribute mainly to the forum. Additionally the forum is open to members the same as any other part of the site starting at level 0. Therefore it is still in all technicality a public giveaway since anyone with enough desire can find a giveaway or two here that they can enter. However it tends to be a bit more elitist since a lot of users simply don't care to partake, don't know about it, or are the kind that can't read directions. I also think it kinda sucks that most posts in the forums are in English though we have users from all over the world. Maybe its time for me to learn a second language :(

I'm not a leecher but I'm not a "seeder" (much more created than won :P).
I sometimes create GAs for smaller groups but sometimes to big public groups or even completely public.
I think that I shouldn't end in your whitelist but it's your decision not mine.
Every decision you make has influence at decisions of others - philosophically mooded me

Hi, I'd love consideration to be whitelisted. I haven't won anything yet, given away quite a few w/ many more coming. I'm working on my whitelist too, but it takes a long time....

Nice pic with the Valve support. Also, whether you add me or not, I whitelisted you.
Thanks for the contribution

I already have 255 people on my whitelist and I hope to add many more...
You know you're not a leech and want to be whitelisted?
Just ask and I'll see what we can do about it. ;)
Whenever I join a GA I look at the creators stats and if they seem good, I add them to my whitelist.
An are you already on the list? Test
Current whitelist count 709

What is a leech?
To ME it's someone who..
• Makes (zero / only one) giveaway and then leeches without ever giving back.
• For the most only creates "invite only / private GAs" and yet still partakes in public GAs
(i.e they can win from all but no one (from public) can win from them.)
• Creates GAs out of the free games from sites like Indiegala / Facebook etc..
• Has been on the site since day one (3 years?) and only managed to create a one, if not zero GAs
but have won 100 times and have a Steam library of 500+ games.. You know the type, right?
What I look at when deciding to whitelist:
• "% Invite" (% of Invite Only)
• "% Private" (i.e. Small Closed Groups)
• "% Created / Won" (i.e. Win Ratio in %)
• "% Region" (i.e. % of Region Restrictions)
• "Time since last GA was created"
Something I wish I could see:
• Length of time on completed giveaways (one world does not equal one time zone, please keep this in mind when creating giveaways.)
• When "Invite only" are for forum trains and thus open for all.
Whitelist 101
I reserve the right to boot you from the whitelist if:
• Your GA create to win ratio goes into the negative.
• Your "Invite Only / Private Group / Region Restricted" GAs exceeds 33% of your total GAs.
• Its been 30 days since your last GA but only a day since your last win, which now places you in the negative.
The former is only for approximate guidance, the last is an instant boot reason.
• You create "fake" region restricted GAs.
• You create GAs from free keys. (IndieGala etc.)

Some useless info: Entered 1195 GAs before winning for the first time.
