Why would you want the most expensive games? If anything I think you should look at the most expensive game you actually WANT on your wishlist

There isn't any reason to choose expensive games, especially if you won't play it.

actually many things that don't have a button "add to wishlist" can still be added to the wishlist with tools like firebug.
just change the steamsubid from add to wishlist button on any gamepage to the one you want to add and then click it. (can also be used to add removed games to wishlist)
On Day 1 from summer adventure there was someone in the 30 people who got COD Ghosts Gold Edition, this can't be added to wishlist normally.
So all things that have a existing package on steam and its own sub can be added by this method. :)
(Though Train Simulator with all DLC has no complete package so it can't be added with this method also)

Why do you want the most expensive games? Add the ones you actually want, because if you win, they're gonna add them straight to your account.

Watch Dogs, Age of Wonders 3, Planetary Annihilation...

Or if you want DLC included: Sims 3. The game with its DLC total up to more than $300. If that's not expensive, then oh well.

You probably won't win... The odds are just too much.

If you get lucky to win you'll get some expensive crap that you don't really want directly in your library, therefore your greed will kill that luck.

Just wish for the games you really want that you can't afford anytime soon.

There's a lot of expensive stuff in the software section of Steam. Someone in the list of winners got RPG Maker VX Ace, which is categorized as "software". You can't ignore that some software has expensive DLC as well.

AC4 Black Flag (costs $70 here in AU), Wolfenstein TNO ($80), and Watch_Dogs ($75).

Well, I put the games I want the most in the top 3... At least I think so, it's kinda a struggle between some of them at times.

What's the point of the "most expensive"? Every game that comes out and is an AAA title is expensive but it doesn't mean it's good. Look at the quality, not the price.

I got Witcher 3, Dead Rising 3, and Wasteland 2.

Mine must be Trials Evolution and Trials Fusion... I'm a huge fan of the Trials series :P

Witcher 3, South Park and Dark Souls 2, they're not just expensive, but I'll probably be happy to play them

Chose some softwares I'm interested in using instead.

They're not games, they're software. Steam has software that goes upwards of $150.

the real question should be: do you really want those games? can you even run those games? would you play those games?
